I am bored of the CL these days. It's always the same teams, year in, year out. Like I care whether Pep's team A is going to beat Pep's team B or whether those poor underdogs Real Madrid will finally win the la deci...oh, wait, they did last year, what's Spanish for eleventh then? I miss the old European Cup, where you could have the underdog go all the way. But no, the mafia, er...I mean UEFA, made sure that we will keep watching the European Super League Made Up of All the Same Teams every single year where the only surprise is going to be whether there is an English or an Italian team to fill in the Top 4.
UEFA Cup was much more exciting to watch, but hey, they ruined it too.
Bring back the Cup Winners' Cup. Or any straight knock-out competition. Please. Have mercy.
I wouldnt say CL is boring
For example FC Porto vs Bayern Munich Porto beat them in the first half of the Quarter finals or Athletcio Madrid vs Real Madrid both teams were even and exciting or Monoco vs Juventus
Not so much an active region, as a puppet dump for discarded invader shell nations.

No one is stopping you from entertaining a sport event :) The only question would be, to what extent?
1. Is it a personal nation volleyball tournament that your nation host for your citizens?
2. Is it a tournament that you wish your region members can join?

And if its a tournament Wysteria nations can join. you will need to advertise it there and here, with when, what nations who wish to participate need to do etc.
If you are looking to entertain a cross Regions event, that will require a lot of collaboration with the Cross Regional Games Committee as they need to sell it to their regions as well and it makes it a bit more complicated.
So whats your flavor ?
Oh, I definitely want Wysteria Regional nations to be involved (Assuming there is interest in such an event!) I didn't know if the Region had 'rules' for initiating such events, but it sounds like you're giving us a green light to give it a try...I just didn't want to 'overlap' with any other major sporting event so as to not spread nations too thin...thank you for your response!

Our next Tennis Tournament - The Varangian Open will start around the 11th of May and will be stretched for almost a week which means that the 2nd Week of May is blocked.
Consider You want to host a Wysterian Volley Tournament . I would suggest that you will open a thread in the link I gave you. State the requirements and a bit of info on it (RP and or Technical - as you wish)

You can see 3 months of No activity - cooling period. I would suggest that you will pick June as the month for it
but its really up to your time and preferences as the host (you will need to allow at least 1 month for the region to spot your thread and register to the event)
