Uroca Regional Message Board

Yeah, Soma, I see your point about the national RP being the focus of any attempt to revive Uroca, but i would advocate that while you and i might not be interested in this in-game stuff (WA, regional embassies, NS forum) it would still be important to consider i we decide to do a recruitment push. Besides, while i have always been fascinated by the real RP, i have found myself often more engaged by the gameplay extras during my tenure with NS.

With all that said, i'm thinking you would rather not found a new region and recreate our nations (or create new ones) but try to keep what we can salvage and try and pick up where we left off? My one response to that is maybe thats why none of the previous revival attempts stuck - maybe those story lines no longer work and we need to create something new if we are indeed re-inventing ourselves as a region. Not sure, and not even sure i would want to scrap some of the work i have done with my nations, but just a thought.

Regardless, RP and storytelling should stay central to the identity of whatever we decide. We can both agree with that!

I would vote for founding a completely new region. While I have an attachment to Hekloslogravia, most of its back story is not realistic and most of its Aberdonian/Urocan history is caught up with other nations who have long since gone (Eg. PGrier, FL, DBL, Bentay, Sayt, Aioran, ect.) There is no law that we could not incorporate some of the back stories into new nations, and in fact, I would encourage us to collaborate so that our nations were not founded in vacuums.

I contacted Sedge not too long ago about opening up the Nova Atlantica forums to turn it into a social forum of some kind. He opened the forum back up and made me admin. I haven't done much with it though. Just thought I would bring it up if you guys want to start a new region.

I changed my name to Canadian Air Force

No way...wow...that really is a blast from the past. Cyp, do you remember what came first, NA or Monade? (I feel like there was one or two others mixed in there as well.)

on second thought, if you want to start a new region, might as well start completely from scratch (new forum, etc.)

Americana! That's where it started!

what a relic, i miss people like swiss army, a libera (even though we were always arguing), etc.

Soooo...I figure that it is safe to say that this idea never left the committee...
