The second one in this quote cuz I believe only people should decide whether he is removed or not so it should be changed that if you believe that he is not good enough the bill is reduced from 65% to 50%

this is a very interesting topic that someone brought to my attention,
Is secularism Haram?

Secularism is defined by Princeton University as:
a doctrine that rejects religion and religious considerations

That would make it Haram

However, on a side note, my views are often different from that of everyone else.

I'm for a secular state, as long as it go hand in hand with Islamic values

what if it's a country with a little of each religion? I mean like if it's a majority Muslim community I believe they should strive to be as close to Islam as a society as possible

What do u mean?

Alistan wrote:What do u mean?

like say you have a country with 25% Jews, 25% Muslims, 25% Christian, and 25% Atheist, then how would Islamic law work? I figure the central law in a country like that can be someone everyone can agree with, which would be secular obviously cause they can't adopt one of the religions, and like the communities of each group should be entitled to their own religious codes without persecution

Not to question Princeton, but that definition, to me personally at least, seems more like a definition of Humanism. I think secularism can stand on simply the absence of religion having an effect on politics, not necessarily a rejection of it. I think a government can be considered secular so long as it's not biased towards any religion or another.
