World Factbook Entry

Thudd was a quiet region until its former Founder banjected everyone and forced its closure. Re-founded, it remains a quiet region.

All nations are welcome to Thudd. There are no requirements for entry, and nations may endorse or not as they choose.

Regions who wish to swap embassies should send a telegram to the WA Delegate.

Thudd Regional Message Board

I fear our namesake may have had the account compromised (Or something. I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt than jump to conclusions), so I re-founded under the same name. It also makes it easier to find for member nations of the former region. I've now sent a telegram over, asking Thudd's leader what he or she would like to see done. Hopefully, we'll hear from the nation soon.

If Thudd would rather not rejoin us, I suggest we take this to a vote once more of our other fellow members rejoin us.

Thanks to Urmba-jumba, who volunteered to send out invites to fellow member nations of the former region, we are back to half the numbers we were before! Most of the other member nations appear to have not been online yet to receive the telegrams, so it is likely that more will join in a few days. Huzzah!

Thank you for the recognition Vivedin but it really was no trouble. I wanted to see our empire great again.

It's been a few days now, to say the least. It is rather likely that anybody who will be re-joining us has done so.

So, I'd like to declare a plan to move forward, into a region we can call our own.

First, before anything else, we need to know if this region will be the region we stay in. Crymora has expressed interest in re-founding under a new name, and we should give this some thought.

However, if things remain as silent as they've been, or the consensus is to remain within this region, after seven days I intend to give the WA Delegate executive power, who then may enjoy changing the flag, the World Factbook entry, receiving WA telegram spam, and other powers, of course. Given that the majority of us are WA members (Sorry, puppets of nations and those who object to the WA!), this appears to be the best way to decide that. I fully intend to stand behind whoever might receive the delegacy, and I intend to remain an active Founder, should we remain in this region, and protect the region from raiders and others who would disturb Thudd.

This stated now, I hope that we may remain a region under a collective identity, no matter who is in charge or what we call that identity.

In compliance with the previous post, the WA Delegate of Thudd has been given executive powers.

So, are we going to do anything with regards to recruitment?

I was considering seeing recruiting some of the newer nations with something like "Don't panic! We don't have some scary regional government!" I'll take up the telegramming if no one else would rather do so.

Panopticon has sent us a wonderful little invitation, and it is my plan to open embassies and be welcoming of their members. In some time, we may end up with a more active government and such. Huzzah!

Hooray for diplomacy!

So, we're down to 4. Thoughts?
