Our little sister GCRs, Osiris and Lazaruz are at war with Osiris declaring against Lazarus on the eve of the 11th anniversary of The Pacific's August Revolution. I think that is a terrible, sad symmetry. I hope they see an end to this conflict quickly.

Just what sort of things will they do? I.e, how do two GCR's fight a war? I understand the concept of raiding and defending and how it works in general, but how would two huge GCR's even affect each other? RMB vandalism?
There are generally three types of war pursued by GCRs. First, they have a loud, noisy propaganda battle which takes place on the off-sites and RMBs as well as the GP forum. Next may come attempts to undermine one another's government thru infiltration. Lastly and potentially most damaging is proxy wars. If this happens a great many regions will be attacked because of their affiliation to one of the warring regions.
But usually it doesn't progress beyond the first step.

Ahhhhhh. A proxy war makes sense. The US and Russia couldn't survive or win a direct war, so they invade Vietnam and Ukraine to jab each other.
Although, it seems like infiltration would be ineffective if a formal war has been declared; it would seem as if the respective governments would clam up and be instantly suspicious of newcomers... how do they go about such operations?
It's pretty hard to keep nations out of the sinkers.
