That's what I get for using a phone with autocorrect and not paying attention! :p

New puget sound

Had a spill down some carpeted chairs wearing socks, got a baseball for an ankle, crutches for 6 weeks and traveling back to AZ this morning. :(

This is not the name I want im being ceased!

Black Moon - ELP
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hix6vUVSVHI

Everyday I see a new cloud coming
There's one more hole in space
Everytime I walk across the street
I feel the gas blowing in my face
We never learn even deserts burn
And all politicians lie
They won't do nothin'
'Till we reach high noon
Black Moon

Ain't nobody gonna walk on water
When it falls like acid rain
Nobody gonna fake you out
Every poison stains
We're all stuck here
Right in the middle

We never call the tune
We don't get active
We become immune
Black Moon

In the night see the red sky burning
There's fire on the mountain
Oil slicks on the sea
Black Moon is rising
How long will it be

Just take a look around the world
The future never waits
We're skating on the thin ice
And we're in the hands of fate
What we need's a little re-direction
To find our blue lagoon
You know it wouldn't come
A moment to soon
Black Moon

A Day in the House - Jeff Beck
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrZNrHUtO-8

My Lords I call to order
On the issue of the environment
Nothing is being done

My lords we can't keep dancing along
Pretending everything is just fine
The consequences are devastating
We must strike out and rescue this
Fine earth upon which we live
Mother nature as suffered far too long and quite enough
What's she been said my lords
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
I repeat nothing nothing nothing is being done

Order
Order

Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done

I suggest that the floor be passed to Mr. Beck

Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done

My Lords

My Lords

The consequences are devastating

Much is being said my Lords
But nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done
Nothing is being done

Scars - Rush
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NWwhgu3Ptc

I've stood upon my mountaintop
And shouted at the sky
Walked above the pavement
With my sense amplified
I get this feeling...

All my nerves are naked wires
Tender to the touch
Sometimes super sensitive
But who can care too much?
I get this feeling...

Scars of pleasure
Scars of pain
Atmospheric changes
Make them sensitive again

Each emotional injury
Leaves behind its mark
Sometimes they come tumbling out
Like shadows in the dark
I get this feeling...

When I think about all I have seen
And all I'll never see
When I think about the people
Who have opened up to me
I get this feeling...

Snow falls deep around my house
And holds the winter light
I've heard the lions hunting
In the Serengeti night
I get this feeling...

Forests turned to factories
And river, sea, and sky
Hungry child in the desert
And the flies that cloud her eyes
I get this feeling...

Pleasure leaves a fingerprint
As surely as mortal pain
In memories they resonate
And echo back again...

Scars of pleasure
Scars of pain
Atmospheric changes
Make them sensitive again

21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5jNOCZrArM

Cat's foot iron claw
Neuro-surgeons scream for more
At paranoia's poison door.
Twenty first century schizoid man.

Blood rack barbed wire
Polititians' funeral pyre
Innocents raped with napalm fire
Twenty first century schizoid man.

Death seed blind man's greed
Poets' starving children bleed
Nothing he's got he really needs
Twenty first century schizoid man.

South Side of the Sky - Yes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TdhZscQu_M

A river a mountain to be crossed
the sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
around the south side so cold that we cried
were we ever colder on that day a million miles away
it seemed from all of eternity

Move forward was my friends only cry
in deeper to somewhere we could lie
and rest for the day with cold in the way
were we ever colder on that day a million miles away
it seemed from all of eternity

The moments seemed lost in all the noise
a snow storm a stimulating voice
of warmth of the sky of warmth when you die
were we ever warmer on that day a million miles away
we seemed for all of eternity

The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
the river can disregard the cost
and melt in the sky warmth when you die
were we ever warmer on that day a million miles away
we seemed from all of eternity

Badger, which way are you thinking of going on the statelessness resolution? The Gestapo thing seems a reference to an older resolution.

For future reference, WA matters are discussed on our forum: http://www.westpacific.org/forums/index.php?/topic/2017-at-vote-reducing-statelessness/#comment-49991

These discussions are open to any nation.

Our WA minister Bhang Bhang Duc has recommended a "for" vote. However it has been brought up that there could be a vocabulary error in the resolution. At this time I am waiting for more comment.

Generally speaking, I subscribe to the philosophy that every resolution should be voted down. Except for repeals, which should be voted for.

Uriah Heep - Wizard

He was the wizard of a thousand kings
And I chanced to meet him one night wandering
He told me tales and he drank my wine
Me and my magic man kind of feeling fine

He had a cloak of gold
And eyes of fire
And as he spoke I felt a deep desire
To free the world of its fear and pain
And help the people to feel free again

Why don't we listen to the voices in our hearts
'Cause then I know we'd find we're not so far apart
Everybody's got to be happy
Everyone should sing
For we know the joy of life
The peace that love can bring

So spoke the wizard in his mountain home
The vision of his wisdom means we'll never be alone
And I will dream of my magic night
And the million silver stars that guide me with their light

Why do you adhere to that general philosophy of downvoting resolutions and voting positively on repeals? Resolutions are quite dense to read through as a newbie but I would love to learn more.

Led Zeppelin - The Lemon Song

I should have quit you long time ago
Yeah long time ago.
Oh yeah long time ago.
I wouldn't be here my children
Down on this killin' floor.

I should have listened baby to my second mind X2
Every time I go away and leave you darling
You send me the blues way down the line.
Babe treat me right baby oh my my my
People tellin' me baby can't be satisfied;
They try to worry me baby
But they never hurt you in my eyes.
Said, people worry I can't keep you satisfied.

Let me tell you baby,
You ain't nothin' but a two-bit, no-good jive.
Went to sleep last night, worked as hard as I can,
Bring home my money, you take my money, give it to another man;
I should have quit you, baby, such a long time ago,
I wouldn't be here with all my troubles
Down on this killing floor.

Squeeze me baby, till the juice runs down my leg, X2
The way you squeeze my lemon,
I..I'm gonna fall right out of bed, yeah.
Hey! (conversation between Robert Plant & guitar)
Baby baby baby...
I'm gonna leave my children down on this killin' floor

Led Zeppelin - What Is And What Should Never Be - (Legendado)

And if I say to you tomorrow
Take my hand, child come with me
It's to a castle I will take you
Where what's to be, they say will be

Catch the wind, see us spin
Sail away leave today
Way up high in the sky, hey, whoa
But the wind won't blow
You really shouldn't go
It only goes to show
That you will be mine
By takin' our time, ooh

And if you say to me tomorrow
Oh what fun it all would be
Then what's to stop us, pretty baby
But what is and what should never be

Catch the wind, see us spin
Sail away, leave today
Way up high in the sky, hey whoa
But the wind won't blow
You really shouldn't go
Only goes to show
That you will be mine
By takin' our time, ooh

So if you wake up with the sunrise
And all your dreams are still as new
And happiness is what you need so bad
Girl, the answer lies with you, yeah

Catch the wind, see us spin
Sail away, leave today
Way up high in the sky, hey whoa
But the wind won't blow
You really shouldn't go
Only goes to show
That you will be mine
By takin' our time, ooh

Hey, oh
Oh the wind won't blow and we really shouldn't go
And it only goes to show-ow-ow
Catch the wind, we're gonna see it spin
We're gonna sail, little girl
Do do do, bop bop a do-oh
My my my my my my my yeah
Everybody I know seems to know me well
But does anybody know I'm gonna move like hell
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, oh, Lord
Baby, baby, baby, oh, right now, yeah
No, no, no, no, no, come on, now

Not meaning to speak for anyone else.....from my POV, most resolutions infringe on a nation's sovereignty in one form or another. So most are to be voted against, and those that pass to be repealed. This is not always the case, but in most cases, yes.

Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young To Die - Jethro Tull
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwn0R1PFUwU

The old Rocker wore his hair too long,
wore his trouser cuffs too tight.
Unfashionable to the end --- drank his ale too light.
Death's head belt buckle --- yesterday's dreams ---
the transport caf' prophet of doom.
Ringing no change in his double-sewn seams
in his post-war-babe gloom.

Now he's too old to Rock'n'Roll but he's too young to die.

He once owned a Harley Davidson and a Triumph Bonneville.
Counted his friends in burned-out spark plugs
and prays that he always will.
But he's the last of the blue blood greaser boys
all of his mates are doing time:
married with three kids up by the ring road
sold their souls straight down the line.
And some of them own little sports cars
and meet at the tennis club do's.
For drinks on a Sunday --- work on Monday.
They've thrown away their blue suede shoes.

Now they're too old to Rock'n'Roll and they're too young to die.

So the old Rocker gets out his bike
to make a ton before he takes his leave.
Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner
just like it used to be.
And as he flies --- tears in his eyes ---
his wind-whipped words echo the final take
and he hits the trunk road doing around 120
with no room left to brake.

And he was too old to Rock'n'Roll but he was too young to die.
No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

1. A smaller bureaucracy is a better bureaucracy!
2. Why should some Delegate from another region tell my nation (or your nation) how we have to conduct business? And some regions decide on resolutions using democratic means *shudders*

The GESTAPO acronym was introduced in GA#76 Standardised Passports Act, so the current resolution gets rid of it, without repealing the original.

Thanks to everyone who brought this to my attention.
