Yy4u wrote:Before I answer the poll, will anyone please provide a suitable definition of 'in-game' embassy?

Thank you very nice.

Off-site embassy = a region or alliance group has their own part of our forum in which to present regional updates and to conduct diplomacy/invite to fun events/argue about policy differences with our foreign affairs officials.

In-game embassy = a region is listed on our RMB as having an Embassy and while I am in charge, their citizens have the ability to crosspost to our RMB in order to maintain friendly relations. It also makes it easier for other regions to get a quick visual queue... cue... erm... makes it easier for other regions to get an idea of our demeanor.

The off-site Embassy is more important to foreign relations because we can actually conduct diplomacy there. But the on-site Embassy can be more fun, allows for quick communications and might be useful for future game improvements.

So with an 'in-game' embassy, you will turn on the cross posting, without 'in-game' no cross posting.

Is this the gist of it?

no...

In-game Embassies all have cross posting. It is an all-or-nothing choice for each delegate. I have chosen to allow any region with an in-game embassy to cross post. I am unable to single out specific regions to deny cross posting.

It's more like:

With off-site Embassy means yes to a request for an in-game embassy.
Without off-site Embassy means no to a request for an in-game embassy.

Thank you!
I can now vote accordingly.

Riiight. That'll go great until someone figures out how to manipulate the hunt and kills Ali.

Reminds me of The Most Dangerous Game.

I hated that story so much because the English teacher had us take a full-blown test on every single detail the day after he assigned us to read it.

Yeah. They shouldn't have tests for the short stories like The Most Dangerous Game, maybe like a little review on it and then how it relates to the topic at hand. Maybe for the longer ones, like The Sword In The Stone, they should have reviews or tests through parts of it.

The questions were really bad. One of them asked what Ivan's eye color was... like wth.

Man, that state test was much too easy.

Then again it is a writing test.....

Every region that isn't offensive should have an embassy. May TWP be open to all, for all come from it.

Even if that region has only 1 resident?

Yy4u wrote:Even if that region has only 1 resident?

Sure! Then if the resident CTE's, the empty region could become a colony of TWP!

What is our current criteria for embassy exchange?

LOL no.
Colonies unnessecary.

I hated it because my teacher was such an anti-hunting advocate he was like "That's why you shouldn't hunt, kids, hunting is evil" And it literally, literally ruined the story.

I don't like to hunt because I feel bad for the animals, but I'm not going to push my beliefs onto other people. I also don't like it when people use blanket statements like that, opinions people have aren't because of black and white choices. Those opinions aren't usually binary either.

Not relevant. Regions can be created at a whim. If a region has no active founder, it becomes susceptible to attack. A liability.

I usually don't hunt either, but yeah, same. The whole "It's evil!" thing REALLY got to me.

I changed my vote. I felt it more accurately described my opinion.
Stop critising me Nasmia, I see you voted as well.

what was the last question?

Hariko wrote:The questions were really bad. One of them asked what Ivan's eye color was... like wth.

This was done so soon after the assignment because it is a short story that should have taken little time to read. And the strange questions were to prevent you from googling or reading cliff notes. Kids invest more energy in cheating than they would have used to just do the damn assignment.
