For the fifteenth time, this is a "mock-up." This is not in any way, shape, or form a proper map, and yes, it's going to have some inaccuracies and bungles along the way as a result. As long as we can identify who is where, it's good enough to get by with until the actual thing comes out.

Welcome to the Supreme Union! Are you curious about NationStates in general, or the Supreme Union specifically?

NationStates is a very basic system. Your nation will receive issues twice a day (unless you choose to receive fewer than that in your settings). Based on your answers, your nation's economics, political freedom, civil rights, and a whole slew of other things (including the percentage of people who die via bungee jumping, as an example) will change over time. If you join the World Assembly, your nation's statistics will also be affected by General Assembly Resolutions, to which your nation will automatically conform as soon as you join. World Assembly members can vote on resolutions whenever they come up. Regional delegates--those World Assembly members who have the most endorsements in their region--have as many votes as they have endorsements; everyone else just has one vote. Delegates often have administrative powers over their regions, which means that they have as much authority to kick people out, change the World Factbook Entry, and suppress posts as the founder. This system also allows any World Assembly nation to take control of any region if that nation brings a lot of World Assembly member friends with it into a different region (the takeover of a region by nations that have just moved there, normally for the purpose of bragging rights, is called "raiding"). Of course, you can found your own region if you so choose, and have that kind of administrative power permanently. The purpose of a region in NationStates is to act as a gathering place for friends, basically, and some regions are simply groups of people chatting on the Regional Message Board (like we are right now) without anything else going on there. All of this and more is explained on NationStates' FAQ page, if you need more information.

The Supreme Union is a region centered on modern-tech roleplay. We have an off-site forum on the Zetaboards website that we use to roleplay our nations more realistically--well, in some respects--that is possible on NationStates alone. While NationStates has its own worldwide roleplay community, which you can find on NationStates' forums on this site, the Supreme Union's roleplay confines itself to its own members on the Zetaboards site. Our roleplay does not depend on the statistics of your nation in NationStates; you can make those up when you apply for map space and begin roleplaying with us on Zetaboards. We also have off-site chatrooms on Google+, where we throw roleplay ideas around and generally make fools of ourselves, and which are open to all roleplaying members.

The most important thing to remember about the Supreme Union's roleplay is that it has almost nothing to do with the experience on NationStates, and vice versa. Some of us try to keep our nations on NationStates running as we do in our Supreme Union roleplay, but many of us don't even bother to answer issues anymore, and have trouble remembering to keep their nations alive by regular log-ins as a result. Hello everyone!

Fleet wanderer

Question on average how active is your offsite RP?

It depends on what's going on, really. There are periods of huge activity, but they're often followed by periods of near-total inactivity. Right now we're in something of a dry spell, but hopefully the influx of new nations will help us to break that issue.

On that subject: Welcome to the Supreme Union!

Thank you, anouther random question, is RP normally based on rules, i come from a DnD style of play, however i can adapt.

Not those kind of rules, no. The two main rules of RP in the Supreme Union are to avoid godmodding and to remain as realistic as possible. Our roleplay is done with modern technology, even if our political systems may or may not seem a tad outdated (depending on what nation you're looking at), so RP that involves star destroyers or something is obviously not allowed.

I hope this helps, but I know it doesn't really explain much.

why cant we role play this is so stupid that we can't rp we have to gon in forum and register which I can't do cause I have a Nokia Lumia 536

There are plenty of regions that RP on the RMB. I'm sure that, if you absolutely need to, you can find such a place. We, however, prefer having an off-site forum where we know that our work is well organized and not at risk for any disasters that might befall the regional pages here on NS. And we are not interested in rebooting and revising all of our roleplay for the sake of a single player, especially one whose RP consists of all-caps shouting that comes with no context whatsoever.

You currently have an account on our forums, but you haven't yet applied for citizenship. The citizenship application can be found under the subforum heading, "Immigration Centre." Once you are accepted as a citizen, you'll be able to post on other subforums, including and most especially the "Map Center," where you can apply for map space.

Yea I tried but it won't let me post in the fourm

Well this comment has been ignored for quite a few map updates and I' almost certain that if I don't remind Gerry he'll forget again.

Holy shiet Gary I admire your dedication. I wouldn't have written half of this on the RMB!

As a "newcomer," you should be able to post in the Immigration Centre subforum, but not anywhere else. That's where you can apply for citizenship. If your application is accepted, your profile will be changed to a "citizen" account, which will allow you to post anywhere on the forums.

Keep in mind that I'm drawing the mock-ups while we're waiting for Gerry to finish his task. As far as I know, the upcoming update will include the disintegration of old Valkany into its new pieces, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. On that note, are you still interested in changing your forum name to "Eastern Esperian Empire," or are you going to hold off until you're more active again? I'm just curious because your forum account is still called "Palladae" at the moment.

That's Texara, which is an overseas territory of Oeslan (the peach-colored nation in "Europe"). There are a couple of different options for negotiating with Oeslan: You could contact Oeslan directly, or you could go over Oeslan's head and contact Nemacia (Oeslan's queen married Nemacia's emperor, with Nemacia being the senior partner). I would normally encourage you to just contact Oeslan, but Oeslan's player has been busy recently, so I don't know how long it'll take him to get back to you. Nemacia is active... despite the fact that his NS nation ceased to exist a couple of days ago. He'll answer private messages on the forum, and will also answer telegrams sent to Ceroulia.

Okay Im on the map, where are the RP Applications

Don't worry about any more applications. We have an RP application on the forum, but almost no one uses them. Go ahead and contact whomever you want to RP with, and start playing as you like.

Sure is! Welcome to The Supreme Union, we are glad to have you, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi friends. Just started this game and from my first like 20 recruitment messages this was the smallest region so I joined. My nation is supposed to be a technologically driven region which is more about advancement than anything else (I know, probably done a million times already). Anyways, glad to meet you all.
