I love it when we have these chats comrades...it shows our intellectual depth and where we are in our local movement...This is hands down the best communist region on ns...and I'm not a bit biased. :)

As for the DPRK, we need to look both forwards and backwards. We Comrades need a good knowledge of history to understand how the world is and why it is so. On the other hand, we are not trying to resurrect a past "golden age," as there has never been one that has benefited all equally. Socialist societies are undoubtedly much better than their capitalist counterparts, but no nation is perfect. It is our unending duty to try to amalgamate the best parts of every past government in order to bring about communism in the minimum amount of time.

That means remembering nations' successes along with their failures. We stand by our socialist allies, but we do not ignore their problems.

The problem with using quotes is that it isn't really "us" right?....how many poor decisions have been made using the quotes of Lenin and Marx out of historical...and current...context.......A quote is a thing frozen in time and we are undogmatic marxists.....quotes are consrete and inflexibale, we are flexable and working to our current conditions....while I have made many posts in the past with quotes....I am trying not to in the future.

For me to say that "We must bring the student protests of Quebec to Ontario!" sounds very revolutionary and Marxist....if it is not the right time...if there is no public suppoort then it is a mistake to act...Conditions should match action and vise versa....a quote is dead after it is spoken....

Someone once told me that "Leninism in moron terms means "do what you must do" all must be flexable to match conditions......and we see this in Lenin's actions in his life, from the N.E.P. to the policies on the peasantry....sometimes we must step back, sometimes we step forward...but we remain goal oriented for the socialist revolution....

Fatigue failure of a cylinder head on the rebuilt Contiinental IO-360-ES engine is cited by the Transportation Safety Board as the main contributing factor in the crash of the Cirrus SR20 it was powering near Buttonville Airport in Markham, ON in May of 2010.

Pilot Paul Jess, 54, and his friend Nancy Noakes, 50, also a pilot, died when Jess's SR20 crashed into the roof of a toy factory just off the runway at Buttonville. Jess reported engine trouble on takeoff and the aircraft appeared to stall and spin onto the factory roof.

The TSB says the Number 3 cylinder head separated from the engine, likely on or just after takeoff due to fatigue fractures that would be impossible to spot in a routine examination. The engine was rebuilt at about 1500 hours. The cylinders were honed and oversized pistons and rings installed. There was a total of 2217 hours on the aircraft.

The TSB is also concerned about the onboard parachute that all Cirrus aircraft have. About 15 minutes after the crash, the rocket propelled parachute was cooked off by the post-crash fire and ended up on the street below. The TSB said the pilot likely didn't pull the handle because he was so low and it wouldn't have any effect.
