I have to. My entire nation has been destroyed and conquered by rebels with far more sophisticate technology than Cronaal's, and Cronaal is the most technologically advanced nation in TNP :D

Well that can't be good; hopefully the pancakes can help in the negotiations!

Well, if you're the most advanced nation in the region, and you get couped by a MORE advanced group, they must be very advanced. Crazy question of the day:

What if you needed a license to walk?

:P I would loop-hole the state officials until they destroy the law

Anyway would the Black Riders, If they were Big enough be able to destroy TSP?

Of course I/we remember you. If I'm not mistaken, you've changed your flag since the last time I saw you.

Alone, no. The Black Riders usually work in conjunction with The Land of Kings and Emperors, The New Inquisition, The Brotherhood of Malice, Lone Wolves United and Glorious Nations of Iwaku. Chances are, I've missed a few, but you get the idea.

Yes, I used to have a re-hued Phillipines flag.
I now have my own self-made plag which has a celtic band on it.

Tsunamy wrote:This is clearly misleading TAC.

Pooria: While TAC is right about the raider and defender debate, neither are going to influence our politics and this proposal would only strengthen the protection by having additional active nations involved in the government.

At best, TAC fear mongering is a statement for why nations should join the World Assembly and endorse the delegate, vice delegate and Committee for State Security -- not why they should be against this proposal.

I don't see why imperialists, raiders, or defenders wouldn't jump at the opportunity to move forward a bill here to promote imperialism, raiding, or defenderism. The forum is a small and diverse community, where such bills face a very steep climb. There are hundreds to thousands of nations here, depending on what method could be used to restrict who qualifies for membership in the "lower house," so there's a much greater chance of being able to pass an ideologically charged bill. If I was a defender keen on pressuring TSP's forum community to choose I said, why wouldn't I push forward a bill here to do that? The average player tends to find defender rhetoric very convincing, so there's a pretty good chance I could pass a bill supporting a defenderist TSP. And once it reaches the floor of the forum community, they'd all have to grapple with the fact that the apparent will of the region is defederism.

Are you really the most scientifically advanced in TNP?

RP-wise, I consider so. It breaks the realism rules of roleplaye and I feel having my nation being cultured and advancing for 2 million years rather unreal, I've kept with it as it's too late to change such.

what are the defenders what are they support?

Pooria wrote:what are the defenders what are they support?

Defenders fight back against raiders. Whenever a group of players "raids" a region, by attacking it and taking the Delegate seat for themselves, defenders try to stop that from happening. When raiders take over a region and stay they, normally kicking out all the people who were in the region before they attacked it, defenders do what's called a "liberation." That's when defenders move into the region in larger numbers than the invading raiders, kick those raiders out, and give the Delegate seat back to the original region.

With regards to the Bicameral proposals I would urge everybody to get involved. TSP is faced with a historic opportunity to trailblaze a new Forum/Region settlement that could stand as a democratic beacon for others to follow.

To the Regionalites I recommend that the Region accepts nothing less than parity for the proposed Houses - a partnership with each House having an equal standing in TSP's decisions.

To the Forumites I urge that rather than spread fear and doom you embrace the opportunity to fulfill your rhetoric of representative democracy that has been invoked repeatedly to justify the legitimacy of the Coalition over the last decade.

Come together, right now

The idea is noble and while the intent is good in nature, it does not justify leaving the holes empty, raising the standards for this new legislative body higher than the current one or surrendering majority power to an even smaller group than there is now.

A misinformed message that those who actively participate on the forum somehow think themselves superior to those who choose not to participate in the player created political body. It all comes down to choice and deciding that choice for them is not a solution. Furthermore, those of us who wanted a more in-depth aspect of NS agreed to a certain set of rules that those on the RMB live relatively free of or are unaware they even exist.

Should it pass, will this new legislative body be held to the same standard as the rest of us? How would these standards be enforced on the RMB? Would enforcing those standards drive people away from TSP? Does this proposal justify clogging the RMB with politics that others may not want?

Your pessimism is depressing.
