I looked at the vid that you posted and accidently found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AguusajAWl0
This was me when I was that age with my first pair of heels. lol

Tiltpa wrote:Wow....shocking amount of relates on the topic of heels. (I'll watch the vid once I'm out of school--thanks, Rabbit.) Could I get away with two inches?

There is an instructional video on every topic a woman would be interested in and some that she may not. lol Makeup, hair, nails, fashion...I check up occasionally to see what the latest trends are.

rofl IKR You and me both. Don't feel embarrassed Tiltpa, we've all gone through it.

I'm sure that would be fine. I'll be wearing 3 inchers most likely.

You can play that? Wow!

I'm thinking that we all should be wearing 3 inch heels, except for maybe Tiltpa, unless she can get more accustomed to heels by then.

Me too. I guess we've all gone through that when we first started wearing heels. I have yet to meet anyone who took to heels naturally without a misstep.

Wow! That sure looks like fun. Are you in the video?

Don't remind me. Just watching that made my ankles hurt. :(

Where are you?

The Velvetine Rabbit wrote:You can play that? Wow!

I wanted to play it ever since I heard the Chet Atkins recording of it, but I could never figure out some of the things that he did.

I'll vote for three inch heels.

Aye. Me too.

I could never find myself in the video, but I was there.

I'll vote for three inch heels.

It's a very catchy and iconic tune and actually a combination of two folk tunes.

I agree with the three inch heels especially if the ceremony will be out doors.

More Tea or refreshments, anyone?

Any thoughts on the style and color of the Bridesmaids dresses? It will be a June wedding, but I don't want the dresses to be another one of those typical ones that you can only wear once and then it goes in the closet never to see the light of day again. I have several of those myself. Tiltpa will be wearing a Tux so that's fine for her, but what would you want to wear?

Since Tiltpa is wearing a Tux, I thought that a nice tailored suit in an cream or bone might be nice. What does everybody else think?

That would be nice or I could wear my formal Dress Uniform and pictured here --> http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4093/4778345945_4a6b647ae2.jpg

That is some uniform, Zoe, but the rest of us would have to wear something that matches it. But if Tiltpa's Tux is black, I suppose that everyone could wear what they want.

*pours herself another cup of Tea*

These days Tux's come in various colors. Tiltpa hasn't said what color her Tux will be, so that would determine what the rest of the Bridesmaids would wear. So i suppose we'll have to wait for her to post.

What's this about bridesmaids and tuxes?

Also I have never worn heels haha as you could probably guess.

So I am home in Massachusetts till Sunday.

We were thinking of RPing Rabbits wedding on the RMB. Tiltpa is the Maid of Honour and will be wearing a Tux. So we're trying to sort out what the rest of us will be wearing.

We were reminiscing about our first experiences wearing heels as Tiltpa hadn't found her feet yet. I would hope that you'd never had worn heels unless you were a policeman, undercover.

What Soph said.
I'd like to see you in heels. lol
Have a nice vacation from the drudgery of school.

Sorry I'm late coming back! I'll take some more tea and some biscuits and baklava!
Good you've caught a break, Cast.
Ummm....jeez. Everything hinges on the colour of the tux. (A rare sentence indeed.) I don't want to force anything, but I was considering powder blue....

Depending on the shade, it might go with Zoe's uniform which looks really neat. Which bribngs us to what ther rest of us will be wearing Soph and I could wear a nice gown in dark blue and flank Zoe on either side of her. It might work.

If we're allowed to go darker, I'm all for a nice deep shade of blue.
*looks up precise colours because why not*
Pardon my use of hexcode for precise colour comparison, but perhaps #191970, #0047AB, or #000f89 ?

To my eyes, #0047AM looks closest to Zoe's uniform, but aren't Summer weddings supposed to have more pastel shades than deep ones? Granted, dark blue would work better on a Tux, but...??? I'm so confuzzled. :(

I have to agree with you. Every wedding that I've been to has had pastels for Spring/Summer and dark ones for Fall/Winter. If we want to break with tradition, I'm fine with that.

It might work, but I only offered it as a possibility. I'm open to other suggestions.

*Knocks a book shelf over* er oooops! It was accident! I was not spying! *runs away*

This is why I said "if," women. I'm under no delusions that I'm somehow in charge of someone else's wedding. Mere suggestions.

If putting together my IRL wedding is as difficult as putting together a RP here. I might just agree to elope.

Now, now, don't get upset. It's not as bad as it seems. You and Tiltpa set the theme and the rest of us will follow your lead.

We're going to have bouquets, right? What flower?

I do agree with what Rabbit said. We did enjoy your company while you were here before.
