Here is the text of a telegram I received from Hudson Bay. We're not to take it personally.

"Hello Nya Varlden - Please, I mean no insult to The Nudist Dreamland. My region and restoration of my nation is/was an effort to explore the newer features of NS (I don't know if you got a chance to read my earlier world factbook entry).

"As for what was learned, I don't have anything quantifiable to report. Inter-regional communications struck me was one of the bolder enhancements that NS has made. However, it is a difficult thing for NS players to apply without some additional context to sustain communication.

"Initially I thought that the regions who wanted to frame embassies only as a vehicle for formal diplomacy were missing a huge opportunity. In the end, I have to admit that there is something to their approach from the context perspective.

"To net it out, NS players remain focused on their individual interests that drew them to the game/region. At this stage inter-regional communications tends to range from a mild curiosity to a slight annoyance to most region members.

"Hopefully sharing some of my insights takes a bit of the sting out of withdrawing the embassy. Your region is a bright, bubbly group that I enjoyed meeting and I wish you guys only the best."

Beer is always a good option.

I'm not sure exactly what he was researching, but as a statistician, I know he didn't collect enough data to form an undeniable (within any reasonable alpha-significance level) conclusion.

Anyway, I voted for beer. The greatest for sure, considering everyone around you is naked.

I collected enough information to satisfy my curiosity related to the new inter-regional communication feature. The babblings from random NS RMBs do not strike me as worth my time to conduct a scientific study with statistical significance. However, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if you were able to obtain a grant to do just that.

Happy anniversary to Nudist Dreamland, founded seven years ago today - the offspring of 000 Nudist Dreamland, just as we are ourselves.

Until recently we were Nudist Dreamland's parent. Now we're their sibling. *mind boggles*

I will send them a case of Congolian beer as a present from us. Even though there's not much left. We'll have to send the special forces after that formula soon.

000 Nudist Dreamland went back to 2003. I should say goes back, because Congolian is still there, unwittingly keeping the old place alive.

Congolian checked in 21 hours ago but has not made the move over.
