The Greek Empire

In the 9 years I've been here, I've never once heard of a moderator telling a player he/she can not go into a region.

This is unheard of.
An absolute disgrace.
The basic principal of the game is no longer relevant if moderators can threaten players not to go into a specific region.

This is what this place has come to. Need you any more evidence of the moral and ethical decline here? I mean, if moderators refusing to do anything about blatant racism wasn't enough, well here you have it, moderators acting like thugs and making threats.

And no, we are not raiders.
Some of these guys might not associate them selves with defenders, but those of us who have been around since 2004 and before then who took part in defending years ago, still consider our selves defenders.

And we wait...and wait some more..

I looked through the FAQ, I couldn't find anything about moderators being able to threaten players not to go to a region.
I couldn't find anything that said going into a region over and over as being harassment thus giving a moderator the right to threaten a player.

So I think I'll keep sending nations into Greece, because as far as the game it self is concerned, IT IS NOT AGAINST THE RULES OR LAWS OF THE GAME.
Just like the persians are now entitled to keep ejecting & banning whoever they want, so are we free to keep going into Greece whenever we want.

Moderators making up rules as they go along because they dislike someone is not a rule of the game.

I doubt that anything will happen over that moderator abusing his position and making threats.
I doubt he will be reprimanded or even warned not to do it again.

Btw, it's funny how that moderator considers me an "invader".
3,000+ active nations, defenders and the like, consider the Persians the invaders.
Yet the moderator in question(who hides behind the handle NationStates Moderators), has a different opinion.

I think that's part of the problem. You have a moderator, or moderators, who are acting against the will of the majority of the active player base.
It's one thing to have differing opinions, it's another to act in a contradictory manner to the rules, laws and normal passage of play in the game.

Good luck to the persians getting the WA resolution removed, which prevents them putting a password on the region, thus keeping it free and open to those of us who were there before them to keep returning.
If it actually does get removed, it will be just another example of the corruption and cheating that goes on.
For the simple fact that there is far too much support in favor of liberating Greece, compared to the nil support there is for maintaining the persian empire occupation.

I wonder how long we will have to wait for justice against that moderator who acts like a thug and abuses his/her position.

And just like that Grandon is wiped from the earth by an unseen Moderator. The game is broken, people get hurt because of differences in the real world. Now this game is useless to me. I have resinged (more or less) in the past, but I would check in every once and while, which kept my natio nalive. But im done now.

The persians must never be allowed to have a full or complete victory. Keep trying, keep fighting, and maybe we will win in the end. I may be quiting, but you dont have to. This war is not over, and will not be for some time.

As long as we occupy the moral high ground we will win. Never go as low as the persians did, because then we are as bad as them. If we still have fight in us, then we will have soldiers, and with soldeirs full of passion, anything is possible.

Fight to the end my brothers, and never give in.

Brothers, we have reached a cross roads, the moderators are no longer arbiters and judges of a benevolent order, but are now biased and will side with the cause that offers them the most in return. We must choose, whether to fight, leave, or resurrect a new dynasty that identifies itself as the people of the Greek Empire, so that in the future we can return with the muscle to free our beloved homeland.
