We would just like to clarify a few things regarding our national Capitols
Paris was the former Legislative capitol of Swaneburgh but after the Capitol was constructed we moved it to that location for logistical purposes.
The Capitol isn’t really a tourist attraction has it is very modern but many fashion designers are attracted to the city.
So Paris is a ceremonial capitol of sorts e.g. many state ceremonies will take place there, tourists visit Paris, most people live in Paris as well.
The Capitol houses Most of Swaneburgh’s elite and political elite with secondary residences in Paris.

The Hunger Games is something all of Swaneburgh wants because after the Great War our nation was left in rumble and some parts of our country is still left in ruins.
When Swaneburgh was invaded years ago the country was left in ruins and then the 13 districts rebelled for change and a disastrous civil war took place which made everything worse. Panem took over and imprisoned the nation so the nation rebelled again costing the lives of 60 000 people. Then came the peace, the nation was under the rule of the royal family again. The royal family fed, loved and protected the entire nation and is still doing that. The Hunger Games were put in place to remember our bloody past and safeguard the future and to many it is a form of saying thanks to the leadership because for almost 300 years Swaneburgh has just had oppressive rulers whether royal or not.
Ballots were taken and most people agree that the Hunger Games are a great honour.
The emperor replied with an official statement:
“The Royal family and I have done everything in our power to provide you with everything you need and more but the Hunger Games aren’t going to realise without foreign approval and no other nation approves. Until that happens I cannot sanction such games. I love this country and I am solely acting in its best interest.
In light of the Emperor’s refusal to sanction the Hunger Games blaming foreign pressure has the cause many people are partaking in riots outside the embassies nations such as AP, Indora, TNA, Genovia etc.

Backatri literally beats back the crowd at the new embassy in Swaneburgh. After the last one burned down, this one is still having finishing touches applied. Although some protesters are peaceful, enough of them have violent intent to merit the use of tear gas and, several times, rubber bullets. The embassy will receive a shipment of supplies.
