Funny, I live in Louisiana too. And yeah, totally fine you didn't go into more detail.

Comrades, I feel conflicted. On the one hand, I have the second highest gambling industry in the region. I feel like gambling is a morally reprehensible industry that has no place in a Marxist-Leninist society. On the other hand... kinda bummed I only got second place.

So, what's our plan for Z-Day this Halloween, assuming we're going to participate?

Close borders, and bring up the Red Army, I would presume. We could do well on a cure, but we don't have enough nations who will be active in participating to do so.

Also, an official announcement:

Voting in elections will begin tomorrow, and will end on Sunday, October 26 at midnight EST.

You can still run for office, but voting will begin tomorrow.

Excellent, on both fronts, Comrade.

This will be my first election, so I was wondering how it would go down. Is this going to be done with a poll, or some other system? Also how do you go about running? I'm not volunteering, but I would like to know for future reference.

You run by stating your candidacy; most also give reasons why they should be elected, or their plans. I usually forego it because I've been in the region long enough for most to know me. As for voting, we all just state who they are voting for on the rmb.

Alright, thank you so much.

No problem.

Ah it feels nice to be back. How is everyone?

We're good, and we're glad to have you back, comrade.

I would officially like to state my candidacy for Commissar of Theoretical Affairs. When I first joined the region, I posted a list of person beliefs I held toward several different entities that have shaped and effected Marxist-Leninism since its founding. With that post, I began an intellectual discussion, between members of the region, in which we conversed about the topics I'd listed. If I were to become Commissar, I feel that I would work to accomplish things similar to this; begin earnest dialogue. Using either current events, or even words and actions long since committed to history, I feel I can help the region become a much more lively center of discussion about Marxist-Leninist principles.

I am back, how are you all?

I'm doing pretty OK.

So, wait, how do I vote? I know it's on the rm., but I haven't seen anyone else vote. Also, who is running for what. I am rather confused.

So far, I'm the only one running for General-Secretary (which is disappointing), not too late to announce a late-comer candidacy though. Unified Germany is going for Theoretical Commissar.

Okay. Well I guess that if you guys are the only ones running, I will vote for you. Also I would like to announce my candidacy for Commissar of Interregional Affairs. It looks so lonely, might as well try to fill it. Also it could be a good starting point for me, as I would like to run in future elections.

Glad to hear it.

So, what exactly does that position entail. I checked the Constitution, but I couldn't find anything. Could you fill me in.

Advising on acceptance of embassies, looking into regions that want relations/may want relations, that sort of thing.

Okay. Sounds like something I would like to do. Thank you. I've wanted to get involved in the region for a while, and now seems like a good time to start.

Thanks. It is good to be here.

Two questions: One, how to we lodge our votes, and two, do you all think we should recreate our forum stuff so we can have a forum again?
