Maybe, but there are a few problems. Two separate Kurdish governments in Syria and Iraq (YPG and KRG) hate each other make it difficult to coordinate on anything. There was cooperation on the border a few months ago between the two, but it's stopped because ISIS overran Peshmerga on a Syrian town.

This is all pretty sad stuff, though. The SNC and the FSA have completely been incapable of solving their infighting issues, the Islamic Front is too extreme, and most of Al-Nusra's commanders have already surrendered to ISIS in the east. My biggest fear is that ISIS controls a border now.

Anybody saw the Brazil-Germany match today? Crazy.

I saw highlights of it at a restaurant. Damn, that was just embarrassing.

Also, have you heard? The Kurds are going to declare independence, a referendum will be held later this year.

Righteous wavists

Embarrassing is an understatement. Flat out humiliation. Brazil's national team is supposed to be an inspiration for the world's oppressed.

I've heard about it. Not sure whether it'll be good or bad, considering that Kurdistan sells oil at a premium to Turkey, who sells it at a premium (allegedly) to "moderate opposition" in Syria.

So does CAPS support polices that benefit socialist states on NS? For example would CAPS push the mods (or whoever is responsible) to change the bias towards capitalist economies?

It's more in the way of opposing anti-communist groups on NS, such as Greater German Reich (there are a couple of regions with that name, so the link may lead to the wrong one) and White Pride World Wide.

Cool so we'd smash those regions, like raiding/defending?

Righteous wavists

CAPS is an umbrella organization, but we have our very own Regional Defense Committee if you're the gameplay type.

Straight from the Middle East comes your daily dose of news.

98 civilians and 600 injured in the Gaza Strip:

(At least in my opinion) Overrun Peshmerga forces in Syria calling for a women's front to combat ISIS:

Syrian activist reveals Assad's troops plunder of Homs:

Sorry if this is clogging the feed. The Mid East is a topic I'm very interested in right now.

Anyone around that might be interested in a left unity action?

Righteous wavists

What's that?

Comrade NewSavedLand's nation has CTE'd; he is an outstanding Comrade, he has provided good discussion and guidance on important matters, as well as having been an excellent contact in a nation inside of which the struggle is now at the forefront. I hope his time away is short.

Israel is invading Gaza; I fear that many thousands will die.

Righteous wavists

It's never thousands, just hundreds. If you want my two cents, doing this during Ramadan especially is the definition of bad taste.

The Israeli government always pulls bullsh*t like this every one and a half years. These invasions are always coincidentally before Knesset reelections.

As far as I'm concerned, I think we're starting to look at the endgame in Palestine. There isn't nearly the resistance from Hamas as I'd have normally expected. Palestine is in economic ruin. The Egyptian government cut off their only supply line. Israel literally invades the Gaza Strip on whim and the settlements in the West Bank means that a two state solution is not what they have in mind.

I would like to personally thank everyone who is involved in the action in Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. We working together to prove that PRACTICAL ACTION not liberal talk is what will actually effect change.

Long live Left Unity!

Righteous wavists

Glad to be of help. Send me something, anything my way whenever you feel like doing something else.

I think everyone on this board knows that I'm not ISIS's biggest fan, so all members of CPNS are encouraged to go to the region and endorse the sitting delegate.

Sigh. This war has zero uplifting news coming out of the fronts.
