I'm waiting for Suicide Squad which comes out next year I believe

I'm also waiting for the new Splinter Cell game. Fans wouldn't be surprised that the possibility for its release would be August or September 2016 because Blacklist was 2013.

Splinter Cell? We're all waiting for Black Ops 3!

I heard of the rumors and now after Advanced Warfare, we get BO3! I think the AW was supposed to be a "warmup" for CoD players because the game can be intense and fast.

So now that I figured out that I can post on the Texas RMB, any specific regional rules that I need to abide to?

I don't want to cause a diplomatic incident (yet) :P

My best guess would be the Texas Constitution, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

No worries now if anything happens I got my sheep shears primed and ready knowing now I won't get slapped with a warning or banned. Lol

Yep, Texas' RMB rules are the same as NationStates' RMB rules. So, if you break those you will either have to Mod yourself or Frisbeeteria will do it. He was Johnny On The Spot yesterday. :)

Alright. Just asking, because 10000 Islands has a slightly more restrictive policy than the NS rules: page=dispatch/id=457703

And I can't mod myself. Though I do regular suppress posts of my puppets in various regions where they know it's me, just for giggles.

I'm still waiting for The Force Awakens, the Assassin's Creed movie, and Incredibles 2, also waiting for Phantom of the Opera's sequel "Love Never Dies" to premiere on Broadway in 2017, after they removed the play from London last year

New wuh

Also, Nov 29 is the day when South Aztlan was founded

Nope, Mexican

Force Awakens and Incredibles 2 are what I'm waiting for. Oh yay, a movie based off a game. Hope this isn't a fail like Resident Evil.

At least Marion Cotillard is in it.

**** New WA Resolution Notification *****

There is currently a new Security Council Resolution at vote. When expressing your opinion, please note which Resolution it is for. And remember Texans, your individual vote does count!

The new Resolution is called:
"Repeal "Condemn the Greater German Reich"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal Resolution: SC#56 Proposed by: Marko Ramius

Description: WA Security Council Resolution #56: Condemn the Greater German Reich shall be struck out"...

<see page=sc for full text>

Holy Cats! What is this world coming to? When this one last came around (and there have been many in the past) in May, 2011, Texans were so burned out on Nazi legislation; they just did not care much anymore. The vote then was 4 for, 2 against, 1 abstain and 1 undecided. We suggested that any region with the word "Nazi" or "Reich" in at be auto-condemned as soon as the create button was pushed. Now some crackpot wants to come along and say that because the Mighty Invading Red Fleet, Heroes Worthy Of Commendation, destroyed the region for all future Nazis, that the region's legacy should be expunged and they should return to being a normal ol' region you would not mind moving your mother to for retirement. Um, no. Nazis suck! As a reminder, the issue here is the REPEAL of the existing law. A vote AGAINST this Resolution means you are in favor of the existing law and do not want it repealed. A vote FOR this Resolution means you want the law off the books. NewTexas will go on record as AGAINST on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.

The Texas response was up on the last SC vote -- Commend You -- which was defeated after gaining only 39.73% of the vote. As a reminder, all we are looking for is a simple 10% of Texans to say one way or another. We are a force for change in the WA. Every vote counts! There were 9 publicly-expressed opinions on the last Resolution with the final Texas tally running 4 FOR and 5 AGAINST and 0 ABSTAIN and 0 UNDECIDED. Texans were pretty split on that one.

NewTexas has already voted on this Resolution in advance of publicly expressed opinions. We did this at the urging of many leaders in the World Assembly. As we have been saying for years, Texas is a force in the WA. Many feel that Texas can influence the overall vote if it votes first. There is an observed "lemming effect" that occurs during voting. Apparently a large number of votes are cast based on whichever side of the issue is leading when voters vote. Therefore, to get the most impact from our vote, we are now voting first. We will re-evaluate our original vote at midnight prior to the current vote. As always, we are open to suggestions on how we should vote on this Resolution to most accurately reflect opinion of the populace. Comments are welcome from all nations, both WA Members as well as those who are not. Please make your voice heard on the current issue either on this message board or on our offsite message board. But, by all means, please vote on the WA Page!

If you would like to take part in shaping the world you live in, please vote. Voting is a right and a privilege, please consider using it. And, if you are not a member of the World Assembly, we strongly encourage you to join.

All WA Member nations please vote. Please make your opinions known in Texas by 11:00pm Saturday and in the World Assembly voting booth by 11:00am Texas Time on Sunday the 8th. Current voting in The World is running - Votes FOR: 4850 Votes AGAINST: 2564

PS: Remember, be sure to vote at the World Assembly too!

State of Opinion from the Grumpy Cat of New WUH
Now I would say that according to this repeal, TGGR had lost its fame from The Red Fleet for its "glorious and commendable" actions. The old raiders had been misplaced or fled. Event though they may rise again, for now, I would say we should relieve them from condemnation.

"Expressing its appreciation to DEN..." Bzzzt. Thanks for playing "Let's Break A Deal!" I'm AGAINST this repeal.

Howdy Texas and especially to those of you with players in the Cross Regional Tennis Season! This is just a heads-up that the 5th and final tournament of the 2015 season is about to get underway with The 10000 Islands Tennis Grand Slam being held in XKI.

Some of your players have made it into the Top 48 field in both the Women’s & Men’s Divisions, so we hope you’ll follow and participate in the action over the approximately two weeks the tourney will run.

The opening matches will begin this Sunday. Threads will be opened in the XKI forum – under the “XKI & Cross Regional Games” board - for both the matches themselves, as well as a “Courtside Grandstand” for a little RP’ing by Nations from the 8 Regions participating. These threads will open up either late tomorrow or early Saturday morning (USA Eastern Time) and I’ll let you know when they’re up and running.

We’re really looking forward to hosting this tennis event in 10000 Islands and we all hope to see you there!

AGAINST the resolution. The condemnation is fine for the Nazis.

Looks like we're also AGAINST this one.

Don't remember seeing sign ups for the event, but best of luck to all who are competing.

Proposal to the People of Texas and the Government

I came up with a Secretary of Public Affairs idea for a new office. However, if you choose me to be SoPA, I choose not to go to the forum (because it's just too much for me to go back and forth when I am dealing with puppets. Besides, I go some bias with forums that I cannot get a reliable answer from some people because 9 out of 10 answers are guesses.) This office is supposed to be for the government to properly communicate with the people when the Secretary of State is busy with international affairs with other regions. I hope you, the people, vote to establish the position.

New WUH, proud citizen of Texas.

Trecdom2 - You have 16 tennis players registered in the Cross Regional Games Tennis Tournament. Studly Penguins also has 16 players entered. NewTexas has 4 players and Richard has 4 players. All were registered in January, 2015 by their national leaders. Several tournaments have seen Texans advance deep into the tourney ranks. Some Texans are even seeded (not NewTexas). Perhaps everyone did not realize they signed up for a series of contests in perpetuity.

New wuh, we have opened discussion of your proposed new position on the offsite. We are sorry you will not be joining us. As for any perceived incompetence on the administration of the forum, we have administered it for 12 years and 4 months now and are pretty sure we have it down, or, if you are talking about the quality of answers Texans provide on the Texas offsite, it is quite a bit different than the NS forums. Frankly, we refuse to use the NS forums. The Texas forums are for Texans, by Texans and Texans don't put up with BS. So you have nothing to fear on the Texas forums. And there certainly is no guessing.

Barrarabian butlers, thank you for the reminder Barry! We will be honored to accompany the NewTexan delegation of Anna Kournikova, Maria Sharapova, Andre Agassi and John McEnroe to The 10000 Islands Tennis Grand Slam!

South aztlan, is Incredibles 2 in the pipeline? We have not heard that. Boy the first was a long time ago. We saw some stuff about Thor 3 the other day - it sounds dark, but then again, it is Ragnarok after all.
