I dunno. It reeks of gameplay, and I hate NS gameplay. But, there's nothing wrong with being polite, I suppose. Oh well.

I suppose I probably should point out that the Sector doesn't have the WA membership/activity to offer any protection against Gameplay to them. Only reason the Sector is GP-proof is that whole "active founder/non-executive delegate" thing we've had going on since, like, forever.

Well, I don't really know too much about the NS 'meta' to really make any concrete decisions about it. But hey, your region, your call. I'm cool with whatever.

Eh, tossed a poll up, nice and tidy that way. ;)

Some of us in Gameplay are really cool people. :)

About the embassy, like Reppy said it's not like we could protect them if they were raided, and they might get raided. I'll vote against, just because their message sounded like they wanted to get some benefit from us, instead of, for example, getting to know the people here, or making more friends in other regions.

Yeah, I TGed back to explain that if he's looking for protection from raiding, he'd be better off seeking alliances with larger regions or defender organizations that are more likely to have a sufficiently mobile pool of WA members. No response though, so who knows.

Can we get a "Meh" option for the poll? :)

Can we get a "party" option?

I think it's obvious our next poll should be used to determine our region's stance in a very important and definitive issue: cake or pie? :P

Sounds like a plan! I mean, there is a thread in NSG literally arguing (albeit in a very lighthearted manner) over whether apples or oranges are better, so why not cake or pie? :P

Well, that depends. What kind of cake and pie?

"Cake or pie" is much more sensible than our previous policy of "cake or death," which was in turn much more sensible than "death or death."

Personally I'm a cake person, so cake or death does sound like a sensible policy. I even outlawed pie back in TSP. xD

Pie. Unless we're talking cheesecake, which really isn't traditional cake.

On the other hand, certain types of pie can surpass certain types of cake, and vice versa. This could be tricky!

I don't think I've ever actually had pie. Cake on the other hand...that one I really like.

See, this is why I'm here: to shed light on the controversial issues of the day.

A friend married recently, and had wedding pies instead of cake. Best reception ever.

Cherry pie and pumpkin pie and rhubarb pie and apple pie are just fantasmagorically deliciulous, but those chocolate cakes that are super rich but also subtle and restrained with the frosting and chocolate sauce are just so good. And I adore cheesecake, which is TOTALLY a cake. It even has cake right there in the name, and everything!

Tough call.

I absolutely LOVE carrot cake and angel food cake. In terms of pie, pumpkin and strawberry-rhubarb are hands down the best. I only make apple pie if the apples were picked from the orchard that day to ensure freshness. Cheesecake is terrible >.< can we count pizza as a pie?

Solont- Cheesecake topped with an olallieberry sauce. =9 Though, come to think of it, the next time I'm up north, I should try the olallieberry pie sometime. Aside from "olallieberry" being a funny looking word, they are damn tasty!

Just received my copy of Jennifer Government! :D

Awesome! :D

I'm FINALLY reading the copy I've had on my Kindle for a dog's age. So far, I like Company and Machine Man better.
