You are missing out Console gaming is great, I prefer it to PC gaming. Unless you prefer Nintendo products that is :D

I loved PS1 and PS2 but switched to xbox 360 b/c it had more of the games I liked. But now they have almost all the same games anymore. Depending on what the PS4 compares to the new Xbox One I'll either buy the new PS4 or go straight to PC gaming. (You can say I'm a little butthurt about the new Xbox One system lol)

I'm currently thinking of getting a PS3, but I don't know if I really want to wait till more details come out with the PS4 & Xbox One or get this thing now and regret the decision in the long run. I don't want the Xbox 360 because you have to pay for online gaming, and I quite frankly don't care if Playstation gets hacked every now and then, because I probs won't be paying for extras. But I fear that from what i'm hearing from these "revelation expos" that these consoles do nothing to enhance the game itself, but rather instead just enhance online play, which really is a let down to the gaming community. I was expecting something like 3D TV compatibility, or something like that, but it doesn't seem like it. All it's really doing is upgrading the hardware and enhancing the online play. That's not really catchy to me as a reason to get a brand new console that had just come out. It almost makes the Wii U look like it was the more revolutionary console, when all they did was add technology that was available when the predecessor came out. :/
I'm a more Playstation fan, considering I own a PS2, despite the fact that I've only played on a Xbox and never on a PS3...
