Um. Yeah. A zombie apocalypse happened and stuff. Right.

Now, I guess I should just get on with me life, right?

How can you? I mean, how does one get on with life after surviving such a horrific sight? Trillions of people dead, families torn to shreds, streets littered with zombie heads... hmmm... evidently, rhyming is a bad thing... So what was the question again?

We now have an oversized poll on the regional officers issue. Enjoy.

The people demand a democracy!

This is the Restoration!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the elected council idea as there isn't really enough to do to justify it, and who would be on it could be an issue. If I was using my own vote seriously I would have gone for option two.

We went with waterfowl independence. Because... you know...

The regional officers just make it easier for raiders to go bezerk IMO, so all hail the dictactorship

TBH it seems the regional officers thing seems like a better idea in the large NSG/chat-based regions that amass hundreds of one-word RMB posts per day (might be an exaggeration, but it sure seems like it). As far as the other functions go, I think it'd be best to leave them with the founders and regional delegates.

Yes.

We're definitely not big enough for some council or summat. I think it would only serve a purpose as backup for if Eura is away, but we still have Wigu for that as well, right Camcam?

The voter breakdowns are quite illuminating...

ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED LAST OPTION :D

The results of this poll are admittedly non-binding, right? Because I'd really hate it if we didn't end up with that Anseriform paradise...

because 112 puppets isn't big enough to have a council... obviously, we'd need something like 1093 puppets, right?

You're going to marry Nethers finally?!?

yeah, 25 of you guys aren't taking this thing seriously...

We haven't even had 25 voters...

I've decided to pin the World Cup winners list we have in our dispatches section for the moment, as it will make it easier to find for NS Sporter's from various regions who might be less familiar with how to use the dispatch system.

Which has got me thinking - sadly, we lost our NSWiki page when the site crashed. But why don't we reproduce it one or more Factbook dispatches, and then pin it here? Surely someone must have some of the old text lying around? It would be a quick and accessible guide to Rushmore. Any thoughts on the idea?

Actually, never mind that - the signups account is in Espo at the moment. I'll leave it up anyway unless anyone objects.

shhhhh, you're going to make the double-checkers stop counting!

For the lolz, sheetz and/or gigglez, I've dug out my original text for ye olde Rushmoree wikie pagee and stuck it up as a dispatch on the Wigu page. Bear in mind that I didn't think to save any subsequant version, so this is just my waffle without anyone else's corrections and additions. I'm not sure there's really anything worth salvaging for a new Rushmore-based factbook, tbh, given that it was pretty out-of-date, error-strewn and inevitably rather me-and-other-mostly-dead-people-centric nearly three years ago never mind now, but feel free to pick the bones if you want.

If nothing else, I'd've thought a page compiling results from Rushmori competitions (and possibly performances from Rushmori nations in multiversal ones) would be rather useful, but literally what do I know? I know naaarthing.

Read carefully, by the way. There may be questions later.

Good effort Wigu, that's a useful asset. Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

So I just found out that due to our official diplomatic links, I can post here. So I'd like to extend fond greetings on behalf of Atlantian Oceania, the most successful sporting region in Nationstates history.

Ignoring your casual boast comrade, I think you may actually be the first person to use those permissions here, as far as I can remember anyway. Not that I'm complaining about Esportivan's being quiet.

Is this going to be on the test?

Actually, the only nations in other regions that can post here are delegates and founders. The rest of us just might have puppets here. :)

Oh, and in other lolfail news, I found out last week there was a bus funding measure in the RL Salem, OR (what this "nation" is supposed to be a satiric parody of), that went down in spectacular defeat. Well that's the RL Salem for you.

Indeed, which is what I was referring to. Although like I said, its possible they've popped in before without me remembering.

Is it just me or is this 'challenge' thingy completely new? I've never seen it before. Why was I not informed? Can someone explain that to me, like, right now pl0x?
