Peoples republic of new antartica

I found myself against the first WSA Proposal because it prohibited the formation of Interstellar Military & Police forces; while being too broad & vague; in what the World Council would/could, & could not regulate in regards to each Nation's individual Space Program....

I voiced my concern to the Author of the Bill; when my favorable vote was solicited; I have again voiced it in regards to the repeal of the bill; to those who seek to prevent a repeal of the Bill.......

To explore & colonize Space, & it's Planets it will become like the Wild West on Frontier Planets; to have no formation abilities to develop Police & Military forces; stronger planets, & Space Pirates could & likely would prey upon weaker &/or planets built by more passive peoples; not allowing said military & police forces buildup; opens Planets & colonies up to exploitation by stronger enemies; for their resources &/or enslavement of settlers &/or indigenous species that might be discovered on said colonies, & planets... This would also leave colonists on said planets vulnerable to attack by indigenous &/or invading alien species... While on many smaller populated planets; the formation of their own security forces might not be possible; Law Enforcement could be implemented to enforce the Law & keep the local peace...

Interstellar Security Forces could be formed as part of the WSA organization; Policing Units could be utilized in much the same fashion as Federal Marshall's, &/or INTERPOL in Europe; Security forces could function much like UN Forces do (Note- I am NO fan of the UN; as a Nation; the US should withdraw from it & re-declare our Sovereign Rights before the World...); both could be utilized on planets where revolution, anarchy &/or Tyranny has disrupted the peace on said planets &/or colonies....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While in reality & actually ingame; this is all theory; I have a lifetime of viewing & reading extensively in Sci-Fi, basing such knowledge & knowing the war-like nature of humanity has led me to the above conclusion; that the ability to move against hostile motives of others, & to enforce & keep lawlessness at bay; the above proposals must be in any Bill; before any support from this World Assembly Representative will be given....
We now have two citizens who have declared their candidacy for president: President Phydios of the Life Party and Former President Texoma of the Conservative Federalist Party. Three days of voting will begin on Saturday here on the main page. On Thursday or Friday, would anybody be interested (possibly) in a presidential debate in the regional chat room?
For your information, Phydios is not yet eligible to run for President, as he has not yet won the primary, but he is getting close to that.
He can always run, but if he loses the primary I think he'd just have to switch to an independent, per your parties rules. Either way whether he is running for your party or his candidacy is assured I think. Unless he chooses to withdraw. All up to you folks though.
So, is anyone still interested in a regional football (soccer) world cup? If so, Stellonia is interested in hosting the inaugural tournament. I believe that scorination (the random generation of scores) should be conducted by some nation outside of Right to Life, though.
Internal party rules don't have any bearing on regional law. All that's up to the Life Party is whether Phydios is marked as "Life Party" or "Independent" on the ballot.
Why?
This will ensure that there will be no conflict of interest (Was that team's ranking 0.507 or 5.07? Oh well, I'll put in 0.507). ;)
Don't think I could do that. I know nothing about sports.
Don't worry; someone else can.
Currently, three of the five members of the Life Party have voted in the primary- two for me, and one for you. Of the remaining two, one is on hiatus from NS, and the other has ceased to exist. What are you waiting on?
When youve knocked down the pins of the opposing team with one shot of the puck off your bat, youve made par.
Then why is it called "football"?
