Fantrum's Farewell Post,

Well guys, the time has come. I never thought it would, looking back, I always thought thered be more time. More time to write, more time to mess around, more time for everything, before I went to boot camp and was changed forever. But now its time to pay the piper, and hes asking a lot. I just want to say, youve all helped me though possibly the most difficult part of my life thus far, from my family being uprooted halfway though my highschool year, my significant other leaving me, and numerous other challenges most of you werent privy to. You all played a critical role in keeping me sane throughout it all.

And what a wild ride we've had eh? The UPE, the UTF, the Khan, Trin, the Imperium, the old fleet, and even the GVP, all the history between us that I got to witness, that I helped shape. Our community we formed here, revolting against the old region and founding our own, crazy! Absolutely crazy! The nights I spent in deep Telegram conversations with different people about how to handle what was going on at the time, discussing my writing or someone elses writing, or even the occasional black OP, were to me all well spent. Seeing people post their writings at my insistance or even their own courage after I posted mine, gave me joy no one can possibly understand.

We made a home here, even if its just an internet community of complete strangers who will likely never see each others faces or know their names, we made a home, a family, that I am proud to be a part of. As I march off to the next part of my life, Ill rest easy knowing there is a place I can always come back to, somewhere Im always welcome, a place I can look around and see friends, and for that, I say, Thank you.

B&B, we've never really been eye to eye have we? But even if we've been at each other's throats more times than there are stars in the sky, youve always been there when you were needed, putting the region first above all else. My departure and Sollis's inactivity makes you the last of the old guard, keep the newfags in line for me ok?

Base, Theres gonna be one hell of a power vacuum now isnt there? Reminds me of when you left all that time ago. Dont go too crazy while Im gone, or I might just have to come back to kick your ass ;) Take care, my favorite Space Khan.

Britania, keep writing mate. There arent enough talented writers out there as it is, and I can see such potential in you. Do your best to support BR in my absence, hes got a heart of gold but keeping something as dynamic and shifting like the UPE together might be overwhelming to him at first. I know we've had our differences in the past, but I want you to know I still do and have always considered you my friend.

BR, I know you hate change BR, and Im sorry for it, but its a part of life and growing up. Dont dwell on loss, instead celebrate who or what was lost and remember the times you had with them. As it is, Im leaving you in command of a huge responsibility, but I know you have the ability to exceed even my highest expectations of you. Remember to believe in yourself, Kee'lah Se'lai.

Angiris, I still hold out hope that youll come back one day, and see what our creation has become...

Trin, Youve been my closest friend and confidant ever since Angiris left us, offering wisdom and advice to me as I stumble through life, Im thankful for every second I was able to spend interacting with you. Even if I give you sh!t all the time for any reason I can grab at, I want you to know I respect you deeply as a friend. While Im sure youll have to buy a pair of thicker spectacles to even read this, I wouldnt have made it this far without you.

And to everyone else I couldnt possibly get to since theres so damn many of you, thank you for making my time on NS the highlight of the past five years, youre all amazing people, and I love each and every one of you dearly.
