Most people here aren't American so might not know Rand Paul. I don't trust US-style libertarians who also manage to be anti-gay. That's just pandering to US Christians and is not "libertarian". That said, anyone would be better than Trump.

There's a difference between emails I've sent and those sent using my email address. My account was hacked and everyone got pictures of naked women in sexy poses. Fortunately, my friends, family and work colleagues know me to be a gay man.

So much talking and analyzing about US politics.. I don't see the reason... I think we all know that the person that will win the US race will not tragically change the already devastating US policy.
If Trump is elected (that I assume he will... Sadly) the arms manufacturing companies will have a party for 4 years. Civil and political rights will be devastated even more in a country of division like USA.
If Hillary is elected, big cooperations, banks, and financial organisations will continue an non stop party for an other 4 years... But at least civil and polical rights will be under "protection"...
If I was an US citizen I would vote a ham... Oh yes... You take a ham and you drop it into the ballot box... If the elections are held with computers you just split water on the machine.

I care who the Americans choose, and I think Hillary Clinton will win. Mind you, I was wrong about Brexit. Poorly educated people go for Trump (as they did for Brexit) and those with a university education say they will vote for Hillary.
The big corporations, banks, etc. may be safe with Hillary, but they would be with Trump, as well. He's a billionaire, for goodness sake. He's just pretending to be on the side of the little people. Just as during the Leave campaign, rampant right wingers like Michael Gove and Nigel Farage were promising to save the NHS - and the tabloid readers believed them.
Bernie Sanders' campaign has perhaps made Hillary pause somewhat in her support for big corporations and global trade agreements. Let us hope so.
A lot of Americans who froth at the mouth about President Obama are barely disguised racists. Trump has racist policies and these same people applaud. Who are Trump people most against - the very rich or poor Mexicans? Right! You didn't have to hesitate for a nonosecond to answer that one, did you?
