Ugh, don't remind me people that people write like that. I've been applying to work as a writing tutor on campus for the semester, so I will see a lot of bad prose in the near future without reading more D-grade RP attempts. The slivers of time I have been able to muster for NS over the past four weeks have been spent answering issues and reading the churlishly toxic bilge that keeps filling up the GOP Primary Megathread.

Why would you do that to yourself?

I got invited to apply for the tutoring position and figured that I could make some good coin. Oh wait, you're talking about my reading habits! Anyway, I happen to care about what is happening to my country and every so often the people in the thread post links to informative articles. Also, I enjoy hearing leftists howl in agony when their GOP debate drinking games leave them soused. They need to step away from their keyboards and TVs and find social lives before their hair grays any further.

RIP Czardas.

Good to see you, Mon. And RIP Czardas. :(

Thanks. I'm happy to have finished my finance degree a week ago and get myself moved back into my room. It has been an odd week too, since I ended up visiting a relative in prison and have been trying to get my CPA Exam application completed.

I spent large chunks of my spare time over the past three months working on a pair of pet projects (a new submarine design and a venue for a future RP thread). You will want to see both of them when they're done.

RIP Alfegos. :(

I'm certain you've aced it, but I'll say good luck anyway as is traditional.

This sounds relevant to my interests.

WHAT?! ALF WENT OUT AGAIN?

I would like to redo one of my aircraft designs; the Air Superiority Fighter called the Pegasus. Maybe a modernization project for Artemis too.

I was thinking (hoping?) that Pegasus could become an international project for Novans.

Pegasus is a variable geometry forward swept winged fighter. The wings go from 45 degrees back for cruising and speed to 15 degrees forward for high maneuvering and performance.

I haven't tested my lineart skills on aircraft designs yet, so this might turn out to be a good learning experience for me. Just keep everything in .png format for me!

If you start a thread in "War & Peace" on the Nova forums, I'm sure lots of us will help out on it.

The Fegosian One has returned...

Too many things in too many places. Apologies.

Check the Novaboards. We have a new applicant interested in joining us.

Yafor 2 resurfaced on the offsite boards. Please consider stopping by.

We have another applicant: Lenisograd

Be advised: medical drama in my life is likely to limit my NS activity over the next few days unless I can resolve it more easily than I am expecting to at this time.

The problem with a variable geometry wing like that would be creating an efficent airfoil at those angles. However if you were use a flexible wing you can change the airfoil significantly. TG me with link and ill halp with design. Just some initial thoughts. :)

Anyone here good with old aircraft, in particular the AN-2? TG me if so, need some info on things.

Greetings Nova,

Greater Dienstad is currently working on an IC/OOC "Military Academy," which we intend to fill with articles on subjects which will help NSers to better RP their military forces. I myself am currently working on a "Military Voice Radio Procedures" article, and you can see the (not yet finished) article in the thread (please do not make response comments or questions in the thread as yet, as it is not finished, thanks).

The part of this that involves Nova, is that we are opening up the process of writing articles for the Military Academy to Novan nations, as well as GD nations. While there is a special need for aerospace and naval articles, please feel free to write on whatever subjects that you guys have knowledge of (for example, Sumer is going to do a series on tanks, and Alfegos will be doing a series on various medical topics). If you have any questions (or want to participate by writing articles for the thread), please let me know.

Thanks!
