New Zealand is a long-time US ally and even we have little hope for the world if Trump becomes President. This may just be the end of civilization as we know it. Trump has proved that he is an absolute loose cannon with some very radical and thoughtless ideas. The man is absolutely nuts, I mean, he wants to nuke any country that has even the slightest policy contrary to American interests. That's most of the civilized world.

Meanwhile in Sweden; the Government has proposed a "Chemical Tax" on electronics such as TV's , Phones and Gaming Consoles (In addition to the 25% tax we already pay for such devices) because they "care for the environment". Supposedly, this will add an additional 2.4 billion crowns in tax revenue annually. The whole environment-thingy is complete and utter bullsh*t, they just need more funding to handle the immigration issue. I know I bring this question up often, but I know for a fact that this is true. Living in Malmö, I KNOW that the 1/4th of my salary I pay in taxes every month goes to welfare to support to the growing number of jobless/jobless immigrants/social costs etc and it pisses me off. Meanwhile, the education system is failing, the healthcare system is undermanned and the police force struggles to maintain order.
For the first time in history, Sweden has an abundance of males (Due to the overwhelming majority of asylum seekers being males, (I think it's like 70%), which will completely eradicate everything the Feminists in this nation has been working for, as these guys hails from poor, socially backwards countries with horribly reactionary views on the role of women in society. Studies suggest that the higher the men/female ratio goes, there will be more social unrest, more rapes and more crimes because there won't be enough women for starting a family (Also have in mind that 15-20% of women aged 15-25 consider themselves bi/gay and you'll see the issue), which means competition for females will be fierce.
I just can't see how this nation will have a future at all. I'm predicting that by 2025 Sweden as we know it will cease to exist. We may see massive social unrest as early as before 2020. If Sweden survives these challenges, there's always the environmental issues will continue to choke our world and the people.
This is basically why I party so much, I need to let go of this stuff from time to time. It also scares me that people doesn't give a d*mn either.

That said, Trump is obviously a freaking cartoon character. He's 200 pounds of Play-Doh in a suit. How he's come as far as he has is anyone's guess. On the other hand, Hillary has a pretty bad track record. But what's most frightening are the people supporting her. If they get any more influence than they already have through the education system and the media, the future looks very bleak. I guess the best case scenario is that Hillary wins but forgets all her promises, and everything just stays the same until the next election.

I liken the upcoming US election choice to having to decide between jumping into Antarctic waters naked or a bubbling volcano filled with lava naked. In fact I'd say icy waters is a good synonym for Hillary and volcanic lava is a good synonym for Trump, so it works even better now I think about it.
Given the option, the sensible choice would be to say "I don't want to do either option"! Trouble is, in the case of the election, if you don't pick everyone else picks and you have to jump in anyway. Which one would you pick? Does it even matter?
Either way, doesn't matter if Trump or Hillary win, we'll see censorship getting gigantic in the US. Criticism to has shown big censorship on both sides, and when one of them gets into office... I shudder to think.

Well yes, we do tend to get A LOT of European tourists. Heaps of Asian tourists now too but the European groups have been coming here for decades now. Most of them are backpackers and seasonal workers - personally I've met Belgians, French and Germans but Europeans do tend to come here in great numbers. Perhaps because we are originally of European descent ourselves (mostly British, Irish and Scottish with a few German communities) we are able to easily relate to the Europeans.
Feel free to come and shelter here! We'll look after you plus we have lots of major breweries which will keep you supplied with your precious alcohol as well as a crazy number of wineries. I suggest Dunedin if you want to continue your legendary drinking binges, its a university city with a heavy drinking culture. Ah, I remember my legendary drinking nights in that city...
I'd personally go with Hillary. Trump is a too great of an unpredictable risk and has proven that he is entirely off the rails. But to be fair, our leading politicians here in New Zealand aren't much better. Our current Prime Minister seems intent on screwing over our country to satisfy his own ego. I mean, he's selling off our assets to his Chinese buddies to fill his own pockets - despite the fact that New Zealanders have very vocally told him we're pissed about it.
Then, he went and wasted over twenty six million dollars on a flag change referendum no one wanted from the very beginning all to pander to his ego and legacy. His political rivals mocked him for it, the bulk of the New Zealand population told him not to do it but he still went ahead and did it...and we kept our current flag like we told him we would from the very beginning.
