However, it can't be a proposal like the one that stood at least until recently condemning them for 'cultural genocide'. I mean, what even is cultural genocide? Why not just call them on what they do? They come into regions, scrawl their claim on the Factbook entry, and suppress the RMB. Contriving alarmist titles doesn't make it any more worthy of condemnation.

You Sir deserve an Award... *Claps*

Sure, I guess? But it's not like condemnations really do anything. The Bellend Brigade'd just carry on irritating whoever it is they irritate.

I love seeing Poor Nations rise from the Corruption and Poverty their Nation once was.

Condemnations are actually counter to their purpose. Those who receive them wear them as badges of honor. It's just the NS bad guy mark... Which is fine. Just don't think it actually does anything significant.

That was indeed more or less my line of thought. Such is life, I guess.

On the other hand (which I'm not wearing today, so you'll have to imagine it), if you're looking to do something legislative, our very own region has a senate that has been rather dormant for a while. Come propose legislation for our region :) Among other pressing issues, we still haven't hammered out the Procedures of Arbitration bill, the Puppets bill, and it occurs to me it would be nice if we codified how long a dead nation gets to stay on the map, and whether and how much past resurrections count towards saving your spot. :|

Current local temperature, Provo, Utah: 16ŗF (-9C). And I drive a 1965 VW with rust encroaching on the driver's heater channel.

Still, at least I'm not in Montana. It gets cold, there.

it is cold over in fountain valley man but its getting better

Seattle has been hovering around the 20s and 30s for the last few weeks. At my most recent rowing practice there was water frozen to the shafts when I went to go put up our oars.

I sorta wish that it got cold enough to snow more often in Australia. The other day, it got up to 39 Celsius here and the temperature's pretty consistenly in the 20s and 30s, never going below 15 or so.

Why is that?

Latine wrote:Why is that?

Because it was a masterpiece. A da Vinci among "Hi gay, I'm dad"s. A Hendrix among "You can tuna piano"s.

You have won. That was truly next level.

Except I only said it because I really wasn't wearing it. I suppose, technically, I do have a second hand, but it's about the size of a pea and has no bones, so it's mostly useless.

Or is that what makes it a masterpiece dad-joke?

That is indeed precisely what makes it so glorious ;)
