I am voting against this bill because it gives no specifics on what the program will do; it simply states that police will be taught to 'respect the public.' This seems like something that every police force already has, and I doubt that just making another, elementary program about it would do anything to stop the issue of police brutality. A better solution would be globally-mandated body cameras for law enforcement, or at least a program with well thought-out specifics. As-is, this bill is an expensive and childish way to write off a growing problem.
And, like in many cases, it deals with issues that shouldn´t be dealt with at the international level...

As well, it gives extra funding for "educational sessions", when people can simply spend the smallest amount possible on sessions, use the extra funding for something else, and then, in the case of dictatorships like mine, teach our own version of "respect and responsibility".
And with no form of regulation at all. And it's has nowhere near the right amount of detail. And almost every other problem a lot of GA resolutions have.
Eh, even if it gets passed someone will repeal it in like a week or two.
