Finally, the elections are actually happening! You can also run for any of the offices shown on the forum. Some of them already have candidates, but you can still run in those. After 1-2 weeks, or possibly less, the votes will be sent in by telegram. Until then candidates can advertise and try to gain the approval of the members of the region.
I recommend you read the Duites of the Minister posts on the forum before deciding to run. To announce your candidacy, you must write short paragraph or so to explain simply why you would be good for that position. It may be a good idea to say a bit about what you might do to improve the region while i office.

In answer to the RMB question of the week, my zombie survival plan is to stay in my apartment complex. Barricade the entrances, get some of the other residents to go on guard duty, and scavenge the surrounding landscape for any food. If the situation takes a turn for the worse, I grab my Katana, and make a break for the mountain that's right behind my house. At the top is a nice little place that would be nearly impossible for zombies to climb up. (Assuming it's the Solanum virus and not some other ****.)
It's always solanum, I go by the Max Brooks style of zombie, that is the best and most widely accepted type.
