The Internationale have been removed from the Leftist Interregional membership list. I am still waiting for replies from the Marxist Leninist Party and The CCON if they would be able to take up the speakership. These are now the final two regions in the rotation list. If they do not take on the role of the speakership it will then pass back to the UPFS again. However I am very unsure I could commit to the role myself, so I would have to find someone else within the UPFS.

After a vote in the United Peoples Front for Socialism, we have decided to withdraw from the Leftist Interregional.

I'm sad to declare that the Democratic Socialist Assembly is currently discussing a withdrawal from the Leftist Interregional, following the Internationale and the United Peoples Front for Socialism.
I (
Herrebrugh) have personally suggested a termination of our LI membership, because I currently see the LI as a failed project. The goal of the LI was to provide a leftist forum for discussion. This forum has, however, grown inactive, and with the Internationale and UPFS leaving, I feel that the LI has, sadly, failed at this goal.

This region has been password protected to prevent possible incursions by hostile forces.
It would appear that the necessary convergance of the disparate left wing regions is not yet progressed to the point where this region becomes a valid proposition.
We therefore propose to "mothball" this region to await a time when such a concept can be realised.
To all concerned - this region will require a founder if it is to become viable, or a commitment from its participants that protection will be provided by military units if necessary - The Red Fleet have acted in this instance, but future engagement may preclude us repeating this.
We therefore ask if of those who answered the call to defend this region if there are any who are prepared to stay and defend it?
If necessary Comrade, I can be counted on for considerable periods of time however, I would appreciate if it were not a one man job, as I would like to remain active in my work abroad as well.
