Yep! Pretty amazing you can fit that entire sentence within a Nation title. Chinese is the superior language!!! I'm surprised not many people use it (seriously haven't seen anyone except me do this :C )

I'm actually taking a Chinese culture/history class right now. We've learned a few simple words.

One day you will be able to read this without google translate :3

The trick is to memorize 1000 words and read/practice a lot, lol
(I haven't been doing that recently and forgot words, but at least I can read my nation name o_o ...)

That is to say, "Poor dear! The little thing needs to do like Mrs. Tubbius and eat!" However, such would go unsaid, and His Roundness would very politely offer the Lady whatever she might care to eat or drink.
Granted, that assumes they would ever meet. It seems that they travel in their own circles, particularly since the Blessedly Bloated is His very own circle.

25 votes? iHoly guacamole!

Any opinion on if they deserve the commendation or not? I haven't voted yet. Proposal seems a bit light on detail.

You should become a citizen. We have our own RP threads on the offsite forums. I'm not sure if Treadwellia is in them either but I'll try to rope His Roundness in too.

Re: The Poll: What Brand of Self Driving Car would you buy?

The Cat would not buy a car. Her new house (nearing completion) does not have a garage or a driveway.

The Yamaha CV-50, a bike, shoes, buses, taxis and Uber will suffice elsewhere.

Well a self driving car should be able to replace Uber and taxis. Theoretically your car could take you to work and then go out on it's own and earn money Ubering people around all day until you need it again.

I don't work in the traditional sense; the work I do is done wherever I'm at, so I don't have to go to work for someone else.

As to purchasing a fleet of self-driving cars, that might be worth consideration in light of both return on investment, and liability. (I'm as risk adverse as anyone else.) But that's really not any different than a driverless taxi fleet. I think a number of private vehicle owners would think just as you have, putting ownership of a fleet at the mercies of a very large and decentralized supply.

Regardless, I so seldom need a car that it makes more sense to rent or hire on the rare occasion when I need road transport that the scooter or bike can't handle -- like dating. In that case, I'll just hire your driverless car. :P

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living?

Altmoras wrote:If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living?

I'm semi-retired; I do manage my own portfolio.

Were you involved in Finance before you retired? Or is managing your own portfolio just something you picked up?

Okay, Tesla works, too! I forgot about the model 3.

Especially since the newest one is actually an amazing price :P
