It does not sound like it...

The Cat finds Cormac's Security Proposal to Repeal "Condemn the Pacific" to be rather distasteful.

Keep in mind that the Cat licks her own butt.

Similar to how I've tried doing it but the only positions people want are editor :P

When I was editor, hardly anyone wanted to write :P

He realised that what he did in Osiris was exactly what he condemned a year ago (having written SC Resolutions regarding the NLO coup), so to avoid hypocrisy, he had to repeal them.

Altmoras wrote:So.. What's the general feeling on Cormac trying to get the NPO's condemnation lifted?

Right now Cormac's narrative is that seizing a region by force is okay; so he's acting in line with that narrative and trying to convince as many people as possible that it's okay as well. His attempt at repealing the condemnation of the NPO is in line with that narrative.

His narrative, by the way, is whatever he feels like believing that particular week.

I wouldn't say that he actually believes anything; it's more like whatever entertains him most at any given moment.

Is there a way to strengthen what he is trying to overturn after the thing at vote now is done voting?

Not really. Once a resolution is passed it's passed. You can't do anything to make it more passed than it was before. It's not possible to pass a resolution saying that you can't repeal a resolution.

The only way to "reinforce" the condemnation of the pacific would be to write another condemnation of the pacific; condemning them for different actions (and lets face it; The Pacific has done a lot that it could be condemned for) so that there are two separate condemnations that would need to be repealed before the badge would be removed from their region.

Considering it is much easier to pass affairs within the World Assembly than not (part of the reason why I am against it) and the fact that Cormac's proposal is doing so poorly means we are in good shape.

As for be being against the World Assembly, I nearly see it the way the United States saw the League of Nations; there's very little benefit to joining.

Why is the Ouya not an option? Unbelievable.

I don't think I've ever felt so strongly against a Security Council proposal.

PC Master Race.
To be honest I've never met anyone who kept their Ouya.

The Ouya is in the grave where it is meant to be.

Well, I am apathetic about the worth of SC resolutions in regards to condemnations.

But the public mood clearly in Lazarus (and really NS wide), is that no one has really forgiven the order.

If you were to be political cynical, then this SC resolution was supposedly an attempt by Cormactopia ii to carry favor, and that he knew it was doomed to fail.

Thyvor is pleasantly mild, and the shorelines are currently being occupied by boats from 'Le festival du poisson', or the Festival of Fish. The mountains, bordering the French alps, are scattered delicately with luxurious alpine resorts, and the cities are buzzing as ever.

How are you all?

Okay. I'm not gonna pretend to know a ton about the Osiris situation, but my host sister is there with her nation, and she says it's getting a little calmer. She speaks mostly OK English, but sometimes she gets confused, so I might not entirely trust her opinion on that because there are words and sometimes entire sentences that she just doesn't get. It's not her fault. According to her, though, the transition from Tim Stark to Cormactopia II went over recently. She says there was a little dissent and people got pretty angry on the RMB, but it seems they're pretty much beginning to accept it by now. I don't really know.

I'd rather have Stark than Comarc, even.

Not by much, but still.
