World Factbook Entry

REBIRTH! Traditionally, the region of Iraq was much larger. It was divided into two parts: Iraq al-Arabi was central and southern Iraq, and Iraq-e Ajami was western Iran.

The people of the land never forgot their roots in ancient Babylonia and Media. This new Iraq is not exclusively Arabic, but offers a wider perspective of the various cultural elements in the Middle East.

NOVELTY! This new administration represents a coalition of Armenians, Assyrians, Kurds, Turkmens, and Persians of the Christian, Babylonian, Gnostic, Jewish, and Zoroastrian faiths.

The modern Iraqi minorities have been ignored far too long. Our mission is to fire up the romantic pre-Islamic civilizations that once propelled Iraq to greatness and will do so again.

Iraq Regional Message Board

This administration is a coalition of Iraqi minorities. It does not men we are insensitive to the general Iraqi population. We extend a hand of friendship to all Iraqis.

Could you explain then why there's a lack of interest among Arab and Sunni nations to endorse your government?

To be honest, I can't. But I can still maintain this administration is friendly to all ethnic and religious groups in Iraq.

Why don't we ask them? Who are the Sunni Arabs here in the World Assembly?

Another thing, most Iraqis are Shia, not Sunni.

If that is the case, the people of South Kurdistan will support this unity government of Iraq. Carry on.

Hi, guys!

The United Kingdom of Iraqs wrote:Historically, and for most of Iranian history, Iraq was a core part of Iran. It is where the Achaemenid capital Babylon, and the Parthian and Sassanid capital Ctesiphon were located. Even though Iraqis spoke a Semitic rather than an Aryan language, Iraq was always regarded as Iran or Iran proper; never as Aniran or non-Iran. Persians were a ruling minority in Iraq, and would rule Iran from Iraq for most of antiquity.

Southern Iraq and western Iran continued to have a close relationship during the Caliphate and later periods. So much so that the two neighboring regions came to share the same name. For centuries Iraq al-Arabi and Iraq-e Ajami were known as "The Two Iraqs."

Hello, this is a representative for Asorestan. I'm reporting to the democratic association of nations in Iraq.

The Iranian population in Iraq is growing. There is a need to build closer relations with other Iranic peoples in the world. To this end, I'll be visiting Greece on a diplomatic mission. Greece has the largest known Persian assembly.

Wow! Someone quoted what I wrote 262 ago. Hope it was helpful.

Nations of Iraq,

I was formally asked by friends in Greece to sponsor a SC Resolution to help their region.

Please support it, thank you.

Iraq expresses its gratitude to the friendly nations which recently assisted the region.
