The dark star republic

I will once again serve on the Election Committee if needed/wanted.

WA-wise, I plan on supporting the repeal of the Patent Charter unless strong arguments are presented, but I'm more ambivalent about the proposed replacement.

“Hrarroom!” ( = “Greetings”), and a hearty "Welcome to the IDU", for Eburonium.

One week from today for the closing of candidate annaouncements and the start of voting?

Okay.
Do we have another volunteer too, to fill the remaining place?

I can serve. I've done it before - do you have to be in the WA?

Gift baskets are always nice.
Nice to... Blow up.
Muwahahaha!

Kidding, the Goverment of Eburonium appreciates the gesture.

For further information please read my factbook.

Guys, I'd like to run if no one else is going to. I know I haven't been very active but that's mostly because I don't understand the forum side of this site AT ALL.

Thanks.

Thank you. Offer accepted (and WA membership not required).

Thanks.

I think that Lumeau is still running, so we already have one candidate. You could still run too if you feel like it, but needn't feel obliged to do so...
As for the forum, if you have any specific questions then contact me by TG and I'll try to answer.

I've started posting maps for the Northlands now (see http://imgur.com/a/RlXt1 ): Not as many there as for the Bears' "Mainland" yet, but I'm working on it...

Those are amazing! I like the "Non-Ursinnic languages" one.

Hi, I'm new here, is there some citizen application I need to fill out? I followed the link, but it was just a forum, not an application.

The dark star republic

The forum isn't super active, but you can apply for citizenship here: http://s10.zetaboards.com/IDU/topic/7438723/5/#new

OK, thanks.

Okay, about that election. Sorry that I let things wait for a bit, but RL got rather busy & stressful -- nothing too serious, just "more of the same" as it were -- and (OOPS!) I forgot.
:(

Okay, so if I've got this right: Lumeau said that they were interested in the job, Sciongrad had been considering it but bowed out when they saw Lumeau's declaration, and New cleveland said that they'd do it if nobody else wanted to but hasn't expressed continued interest since having Lumeau's candidature pointed out... so with plenty of time now having elapsed since the original deadline for candidate declarations, this means that Lumeau becomes our next delegate.
Right?

Wasn't it helpful of the WA Survey to make 'Most Endorsements' the subject of today's report? Looking through the list, I'm fairly sure that if both I and Sciongrad temporarily drop WA membership and Lumeau themselves then de-endorses the other nations that are currently ahead of them (i.e. Hakio, Eenen, Bellapax, Laeriland, and Herpothamnus...) that should be sufficient to make the changeover work.

Bears Armed Mission having resigned from the WA, I have now (as is customary) used the founder to block delegate access to regional administration until the handover of power has been properly completed.

I would recommend you all vote in favor of Rules of Surrender and against Condemn Vandoosa.

We accept the position and will immediately de-endorse the nations mentioned. Nothing personal, of course!

Delegate access restored

Congratulations to Lumeau.

My thanks, on behalf of the region, to the other people who voluntered (but then weren't actually needed) for service on the Election Committee.

Any specific reason why that one in particular?

Congrats Lumeau for demonstrating that such quaint and antiquated concepts such as "democracy" are completely unnecessary for governing a region (especially one with "democratic" in its name)! We wish you success in your term as Delegate. ~Your friends in AO

Hello my brothers I came to this wonderful region with the hope that our differences in our governments can show the rest of the world that we can work together in peace arms and harmony ! :) dios libertad y protection
