In the spirit of cooperation in the face of raiding, I would like to urge members of the IDU to vote to condemn The Invaders in the World Assembly. Condemnation is the only way we can strike back against invader regions.
Speaking, of course, as a observing resident and thankful benefactor of the refuge the IDU provides:
Regions with active founders are the only effective defense against raiders. Condemnation not only does nothing to prevent or defend against raiding, but it also provides the raider with a badge of "honor" which they actively seek.
The spirit of cooperation should drive likeminded nations to establish regions with active founders, whose official powers are democratically defined, limited, and controlled. Any group of nations failing to do so simply reap the consequences of their own choices. Given how simple and absolutely effective this solution is, one must conclude that all raiders' "victims" are, in fact, self-selected and wholly willing participants.
Let the individual, and any group thereof, reap what they freely choose.
Maybe condemnation is just a badge of honor for them, but by condemning them, we show that raiding is not supported by the NationStates community. It also might make people think twice about joining The Invaders.
I'll translate his posts and mine as well. So we can understand each other.
During my times in Ile-De-France and Nazi Europa, they openly admitted they liked to be condemned.
But it's not about whether they like it or not. It's sending a symbolic message.
If they like it, its hardly doing any good as a symbolic message, is it?
The symbolic message here is more for people considering joining them than it is for people already in The Invaders.
“Hrarroom!” (= “Greetings”), and a hearty "Welcome to the IDU", for Solrey, and for Torofax.
*(sends over a gift basket of this nation's produce, including a large jar of high-quality honey and a large bottle of high-quality maple syrup as well as assorted fruits and nuts, for each of those countries’ national governments)*

Ok, I feel like I'm missing something when it comes to the invader game. Uroca was invaded - then the nation that became delegate banned all but one of the invaders, left and then resigned from the WA. The only remaining invader is the one who arrived first and is just lurking there. What just happened?
I'll take a look at it tomorrow, when I have more time available.
In the meanwhile, I have voted against the current SC proposal because it's rather obviously a case of the invader group concerned actually trying to get a badge for their region and the text is too boastful about their alleged successes.
I don't understanf the raider thing at all.
I do suspect that a number of thrm are socially inept however.
Greetings IDU! Just FYI a WA resolution on Preventing Trade of Endangered Organisms which I and Bears Armed drafted on your message boards is now available for comment in a draft form on the game side message board here:

I would appreciate your comments in the nearish future if you are so inclined. Thanks!

Three entries for best IDU film, one entry for best foreign film and only four days left to get your entries in.
Roll up, roll up - you've got to be in it to win it!
In the interest of getting things going, Gnejs has just declared its intention to run for speaker of the IDUSA. Can we have a contender? Elections are always more amusing when there's at least two in the mix.

I'll run. Of course, behind the scenes I'll be secretly working to make sure you win, but in public, prepare to be savaged! >:D

Great! I've just posted a rebuttal on the forums.

My entry for the film festival is almost complete now: Just some of the main members of the cast left to name. I'll post it tomorrow morning, British time.
This sounds like it's going to be a master piece!
Slight delay, due to spending longer than planned looking at the GA and then computer problems: Will post this afternoon, instead...
