I'm thinking that Apoc's thinking "bloody RP"?

United Palatinate: "I agree with you that capitalism, when abused, can be awful"

Come live in the US if you want to see capitalism in one of its worst forms. (unless you already do). If Mitt (R)Money is elected in November (please no!) he'd give the "Job Creators" (Government welfare recipients) more than $6.6 trillion in tax cuts, thus adding to the 16 trillion dollar debt. (He and the GOP would blame Obama for it anyway).

In other news RT reports that soon in the US, the drone that are currently flying over the country, will soon be armed with tear gas and rubber bullets. No word on how many years till they will be upgraded to live fire, maybe when the US becomes a total Police State (ops to late).

I sense a coming "Let them eat cake" moment?

I don't live in the US Alkoul, but I do agree with you that there are a lot of problems there, just as there are in every other country. But, living in Europe I've always tended to think that the US is too far to the right politically and that their idea of capitalism is somewhat different to a European version (which actually, thinking about it, is still different from the British version :P )

CAN YOU SEE IT?

Emperor Azor himself denies accusations of forced servitude. Will you, the mighty nations of the League fall down at his whim like dogs begging for scraps? Or will you assert yourselves beyond his cruel machinations?

SAVE US, SAVE US ALL!

The Rebellion on Sunday, brought to you by Panasonic.

Hi guys, sorry it's been so long - I'm back now!

@Thatch, *Begins to applaud* :D

United Palatinate, "living in Europe I've always tended to think that the US is too far to the right politically and that their idea of capitalism is somewhat different to a European version"

Living in the US, our political system mostly just the Republican Party has become hijacked by religious radicals that want to impose Biblical Law upon the US. The GOP has gone so far right that Moderates in that party are being voted out of office for one reason alone, they compromised with the Democrats.
Just recently a North Carolina Pastor told his congregation that Gays and Lesions should be placed behind electrified fences and left to die (that isn't the first time that has been said a GOP politician said something like that).

There are in reality two types of Capitalism American, where there hardly is any regulation and if something goes wrong those responsible aren't punished but reworded with more money. Where Companies are allowed to cut jobs just for more profit. Companies in the US are "For Profit" they don't care how badly they screw the US worker or customer just as long as they get more money.
Then there is European, where the markets are regulated fairly to give everyone a fair shot at earning money and moving up on the ladder. Where if the company is successful, the employees share in the wealth.

So we're in agreement then? Like I said, I like the John Lewis model of business partnership which is pretty much what you were describing at the end there. And I absolutely hate the views of those religious radicals that you spoke of at the start, but they still have a right to say it.

As a Christian I do not support gay marriage or the gay movement, but I do not believe that gay people should be persecuted.
