Greater AltHistoria Regional Message Board
Welcome to Greater AltHistoria, Dixieland! We're always glad to see more nations coming to our wonderful region, though we must say your flag is creeping us out. Can we just... put a towel over it or something?
The eyes of the Kingfish watch us all from Heaven, there is no way to hide from them.
As the esteemed delegate for all you WA nations, does anyone have an opinion on how I ought to vote on any of the pending resolutions?
Having looked at the repeal proposal and the original resolution, it is Innucinsar's belief that the Cultural Heritage Protection resolution is exceptionally vague and open to abuse and willful misinterpretation, and therefore ought to be repealed.
I don't know enough about The Bruce to know whether they should be commended, though. :)
I never vote on Security Council stuff, because I have no idea what any of it means.
I like casting five votes at once, though.
I don't fully understand how the WA delegate/regional influence stuff works - do WA delegates' votes just count as five votes?
Also, does anyone know if there's some sort of algorithm that checks to see what name you've given your national leader and then makes it appear more often as a person's name in different Issues? Because this must be the tenth time I've seen someone with the surname "Sköld" - though "Bharatendu Sköld" is definitely the most unusual version of the name I've seen!
WA delegates have as many votes on a resolution as they have endorsements, plus one (their own). Individual WA members retain their independent vote when they endorse their delegate, and can vote however they like without impacting the votes of the delegate. Some large regions have delegates who can really swing the balance. Since I have four endorsements, I have five votes. If we had more WA members endorsing me, we'd have more votes.
Additionally, proposals for WA legislation that are put forward have to be approved by some percentage of all regional delegates (6%?), for which purpose delegates are all counted equally.
It wouldn't surprise me if it did something like that, but I don't think it does. There's a set rotation of random names, so far as I know.
I like being a rogue nation too much to join the Nations United. ;)
Yay, I finally got arsed to make a factbook for my nation (took me a long enough, that one).
I started writing a Factbook for Innucinsar a couple of years ago - now Innucinsar's changed so much I'll have to rewrite half of it! D:
