The classic Universal horror films from the '30's for me or the '50's Sci Fi. THEM!

37th most infected nation in NS history this Halloween. Great job everyone!

Interesting choices :P Anyways, how DO your nations celebrate Halloween? Does it also root back to agricultural-based society or is it more of a recently adopted celebration from outside? What do your people do during that time and do people celebrate it at the end of autumn or at the middle like the East Asians? Pagan, Christian, public (government), hallmark or secular holiday?

I'm from Britain and I don't - I pretended I wasn't in so that no kids came asking for sweets. Even up until about 10 years ago, nobody ever celebrated Haloween, it was a dead (excuse the pun) celebration from pagan times, but in recent years, because of American TV/films portraying it as a big thing, kids over here are now starting to buy into all the commercial tat that surrounds it. Much like Christmas, it has therefore lost it's true meaning as capitalism has bought it out to use it for its own ends and it is now just another celebration of the human race's mindless consumption.

I wouldn't say no one celebrated Halloween, just not on the scale of recent years. I have always carved a pumpkin and bobbed for apples, occasionally even dressed up for the odd party (like this year), but I have started to see a lot more houses decorated in recent times.

I am done with my antibiotics, but give me a few days for coming back: I need to get a few things IRL in order first.

The prussian empires

There has been no change in how the US celebrates Halloween. My brothers favorite holiday is Halloween.

Interesting :) Well, in my country, Christmas is a more anticipated holiday. Halloween is not exactly a big celebration but All Souls' Day which comes afterwards is an important date for remembrance. Back when I was a kid though, we had Halloween parties and had a haunted house in school so I guess, for children, Halloween is a fun and exciting holiday. Trick-or-treating is not really that well-known but children do get bags of goodies in parties! For adults, there's that Oktoberfest thing, lol, but it's more of a marketing scheme from brewery industries rather than a real tradition so for most people, it's unheard of.

I loved Halloween!

There was no 'trick or treating' where I lived when I was a kid. Houses were miles apart.

Nationalist republic of china

Yay 5th place in Armory and Top 5% of the world! Hell yeah!

Somehow my hippy loving nation has more guns per people then my fascist nation. :/

Damn hippies, I always knew they weren't as innocent as they seem!

Congratulations! Nationalist Republic of China. Keep up the good work!
