So I'm beginning to realize the sheer scale of the hell that's been unleashed but can somebody give me a bit more of a detailed explanation as this is mind boggling has me in awe of having united the RPing community like never before...
Mallorea and Riva, a raider mod, set up a proposal to strip Haven, an RPing region, of it's password (liberate). We responded as a community and the proposal eventually failed to reach quorum. Then the talk of opt out occurred, which would have RP region granted the ability to opt out of participating the the R/D side of NS. The argument goes both ways. But seriously, raiders don't have to play our game, while should we play theirs? The mentors and a plethora of players have taken up arms in this battle. It seems that there will eventually be progress, but it will be over time.

Interesting as at the moment the entire mess I'm seeing is distinctly reminiscent of what I saw in the news about the riots in Ukraine before Yushenko or whatever he was called ran away...

I think the whole mess is largely due to the effort it takes, the R/D thing in regards to RP regions is a lot harder to effectively fix, while RP doesn't have many problems until things like this come up, ofc this whole mess came from the fact that a lot of RP regions don't have founders, something that could be fixed with a refound function that keeps the region safe from getting sniped...
One would think I'd be near the back of the list for region's largest defense forces...

The way things are going atm, the region should have stable population within the next week or so. Once that's done, I'll make sure the person I'm helping out is happy and then I'll switch my accounts back. :)

Don't worry about it? He continues to message me waiting for a response. You have the time and gall to go and help another region because of some favor or whatever you owe them, but you do not have the courtesy to uphold a simple thread that you yourself suggested our applicant go through?
What amazes me is how patient he has been in this whole situation.
I know real life has its challenges. Trust me, I know. However, I have seen the same pattern going on for over a year now. This little "business" you are doing right now has just pushed me over the edge of patience.
