Went to a bunch of middle schools this week for their curriculum fairs. Was a rep. For three different classes, drafting, engineering, and digital media. My partner decided to opt out, thus leaving me alone. I went from class to class for about 2 1/2 hours. 3different schools every other day.

Did you enjoy that? A good experience?

I always enjoy it. Done it in every year of highschool. I like the idea of being a role modle. A lot of the time, except next year because I'll be gone, the students who remember me come to me for help. In general, I enjoy interacting with kids. I like knowing they look up to me.

Do you have those in Canada? I thought that was an American thibg?

My home province of British Columbia has the only Recall and Initiative Act (we mashed those together in the same bill) in Canada, brought in by my very own New Democratic Party during our last time in power. :)

For clarity's sake, I've been given consideration to using the Act, and I'm in a position where I could at least get people turning to it as a viable option.

Meanwhile here in Spain I can sit in the sun and not get set on fire because of winter ^w^

I know, my computer get very hot on java and after a few months the HD crash. Maybe I can invent a computer, with a cooling system using liquid nitrogen instead of a fan.

Only time is lacking and electricity to make such a device.

Mean while in North Carolina, I'm freezing in 17 degree weather with no heat in my car, no snow either. NC isn't a place to expect snow though. Even in 17 degree weather. I wish I lived in Florida.
