Yeah. Mike LaPoint has only been on for a little over two years, but I like him, as do many others. Before him, there was Jim Flowers, and he had been on for a long time. Since the 80s at least, and before that, he was in Atlanta. A lady I know, who has lived in the area since the age of 8 or so, actually moved here at the same time he did. I really liked Jim Flowers, but in 2012, WOWT fired him. But now he's at another Omaha station. KMTV Action 3 News

Back in Kansas for now. May needs to get here when I move permanently.

I wish. It was the boring wet kind.

We've been getting rain. It rained all day tuesday. It rained for a while last night, but we just got a little last night. Yesterday, during track, the sky was awful grey. I thought it was gonna storm.

Hey, guys. What's up? I'm about to leave. We're going shopping to get me a suit for prom and some shoes. My girlfriend and I tried everything so she could go, and her father refused. He's so ridiculous. So at the moment, I'm having a sh*tty day. I miss my girlfriend, and I haven't seen her in two weeks, and probably won't see her again until at least next weekend. I've been dealing with this type of thing for a year. I love my girlfriend very much. She loves me, but I never get to see her. Sorry. I shouldn't bring personal stuff into NS. It just pisses me off. I would understand why her dad hated me if i were a 20 year old who smoked pot/did other drugs and partied all the time. I'm sorry guys.

Likewise Commend Historia Novorum.

While the two of you live in your parents' homes, you're bound by their rules. As we tell the gay kids, for you, too, it gets better when you move out for college/military/job.

It's her father. Her parents are divorced. Her mother is nowhere near as strict as her father, but she lives with her father. So. Yeah. My parents really like her. My dad wishes I could see her more. He lets my sister see her boyfriend twice a week at lest. He doesn't care if I see my girlfriend that often, but her dad won't let it happen.

That's sadly just the nature of living at home. There are lots of benefits, but you are stuck with how they feel, and your girlfriend's dad is behaving in accordance with his feelings. It's awful, but it won't be forever.

In slightly lighter fare, my research tome is officially part of the Amazon.com Kindle library. For those who wish to purchase it, the title is "Rainbow Lockers: Queer youth in sport". The foreword has been written by Conner Mertens, the first person to come out on an NCAA team while being on that team's roster. Link would be provided, but it's a different link for each nation and I'm not going to drive us all up the wall by doing that.

It feels weird for the book to be finished and out where other people can read it and have it for themselves. It also feels really weird knowing that someone actually bought it.

My great great uncle wrote a book called Wiley's Island, about his time during the second world war. We have a copy, as does pretty much everyone on my father's side. It's on amazon. Also, I know tome is synonymous with book, but I've never heard anybody use it!

I GET TO SEE THE GIRLFRIEND TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So even though me and my sister's birthday was back in february, we haven't been able to celebrate with my mother's side until tonight. Well, I got a flash drive with a bunch of lesser known Billy Joel songs, because mt uncle is a huge Billy Joel fan, bigger than I am, and so he downloaded them and gave it to me. It's awesome. Billy Joel sure's got some talent!
