There are governments on here less caricature than the Tories.
Went in on Monday to see the Universal Credit folks. They've had to move down from the top floor to sharing the second with the older JSA section, sharing staff with most of the ones I've seen before now absent, huge queues. It was utter pandemonium, and I'm hoping I get the job I'm interviewing for next week so that I never have to set foot in the place again.
On another note, local Tories are complaining about a Labour attack ad that was aimed at one of their councillors who after a five year absentee record got voted back in, and they're saying it's unfair of Labour to be doing it.
Now then...who was the one that kept on showing his shiny forehead on the TV and shouting that the earth would quake and waves break upon our houses should Labour get voted in, that they'd be reliant on the mercy of the SNP? Methinks they doth protest hypocritically.
I thought the Tories drew all of their powers from Hypocrisy?
That would explain a lot, come to think of it.
After 10 years of not being noticeable my country finally ceased to exist. I'm back for now.
Also, we really don't talk that much here any more.
Guess it's up to us to change that. :) What are your plans for summer Taggie? And the rest of you?
Indeed it is, Suvvie :D
I don't have any holiday plans, really. I've got a trip planned to go and see TankFest like I did a couple of years back. And me and some old uni friends idly chatted about going camping. I'm going to have to see if I can make that a bit more concrete.
What about you?
I haven't really got that many plans yet. It's my 25th birthday in a few weeks, we'll see how I decide to celebrate it. Have promised to help my mother to do some maintenance to her house though.
I've got to do that in my own house...
Well, at least clean it up a bit.
