Europa Regional Message Board
I think it kicks back in in early middle age.
I met my first Canadian.
My friends, the time has come for me to leave our region and move on to other pastures.
As most of you may know, I'm part of the Future Tech community, and have helped rebuild the foundations on which that community now stands and it is no secret that I have had nothing to do with the Modern Tech RP community since...well, the Fall of Europa, which is only a few years away from a decade. It is also no secret that I've not taken part in discussions here on the Europa RMB for quite some time, though my reasons for that are quite different than merely 'lack of interest' and I will not go into them here. I have, however, kept a very diligent watch over the region and our beloved forum, making sure that threats, spam and other disruptive behaviors do not become a problem.
I intend to continue doing that by keeping the Founder active and continuing to patrol the forum regularly. Please remember that any problems that require more immediate attention, do not hesitate to telegram me on this account, or contacting me on IRC. Let it never be said that I do not take my responsibilities both old and new seriously.
Europa has been and will continue to be very near and dear to my heart. I've been here since starting Nationstates, and been part of the forum as long. It has helped me grow as a RPer, writer, and administrator, all skills I have been putting to good use in the Future Tech community, and saw me through some rough times with good stories and good friends that I will NEVER forget (Much love to the Suvvie, that crazy Swede!) It will always be my first home and I will do my part to keep it safe, but much like in real life, you can't live at home forever.
Again, I'm only a couple of clicks away should anyone in Europa need assistance. Who knows, maybe I'll see more than just Vetok in Future Tech one day. :P
Thank you for so many good times, Europa. I wish you all the best in your future pursuits, but on Nationstates and in life, and that you may always keep the wind at your back.
Vocenae, I wish you the best in your new path. I hope you keep enjoying the game and that you still keep touch with us. Best wishes, mate.
I go AWOL for a bit, and look what happens.
I'm off for a few weeks as well. Seattle to LA.
Rich people, with your money for holidays...
Sounds good, O.
A bit of an adventure :P
I do like the pictures they have for some of the banners.
Yup. It's all gorgeous stuff. A far cry from the olden days of economical graphics for poor connections. I hated loading our forums through 56k.
