The game is set in the stone age, you can hunt, harvest, bake, make villages, be a medicine-man-woman, etc. The game has alot of potential it is just pretty empty.

Ok, that is the situation, you can have three alts without being considered a zerger by the admins. I would like to start a tribe of people have develop our own culture and religion. Also I want to start another group of spacemen who get dumped there to colonize this virgin planet, thats it, beyond that it would be freeform and develop however we make it happen, those would just be the starting themes.

Feel free to join at www.Shintolin.com and play as you wish or contact me here to collaborate on the project.

Basically the project is in its prenatal stage, Tag, but if you like some RPing you would probably like it. The cool thing is that no one person can have all the skills, you have a finite amount of skills you can possess (you forget some when you learn your 18th skill), this makes it very beneficial to have a decent sized village where some people focus on healing, others on being a baker, or hunting, or gathering onions, farming, lumberjacking, or being a warrior. You can trade and raid so alot of potential. ok i'll get off the pedestal now, lol. forgive my motormouth

I'll definitely have to take a look at that - especially since I'm currently working on a project that is mainly Mesolithic :P

Founded 10 millenium BC, this breaks our conception of progress

In what regard?

well, at a time when our understanding of the level of human progress was supposed to be hunter-gather or at most a mobile pastoral societies there is this vast complex of stone constructions. They way, and scale, that it was build is beyond anything people had until thousands of years later. And for a supposedly pre-agricultural age how would they have supported the number of workers necessary to do this? Also, evidence shows it was purposefully buried at some point which could point to an abandonment of their religion and the desire to destroy any remains of it which is fascinating.

basically, it indicates our understanding of human progress is not as solid as many academics would like us to believe, thats all. Together with the Antikythera mechanism i think it is good evidence for the idea that progress was not this linear thing, but that relatively advanced societies existed before the norm.

Robin Williams is dead of apparent asphyxiation.

He voiced the Genie in Aladdin, starred in Good Morning Vietnam, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting, Hook, and the classic TV series Mork & Mindy.

I was very saddened by the news of his departure. :(

Dad might be dead soon. His bladder infection has worsened and his kidneys are coming to a halt. Anything less than a full recovery will have him bound to a dialysis machine. I'm gearing up for whatever happens. He is not in good shape at all...

Our thoughts are with you and your family, Emakera.
