I'm just gonna go ahead and suppress it all.

Ok. Can someone please tell me what I did to deserve having all my comments suppressed?

Probably for the best.

Dunno, but its better joining the chat because RMB is mostly for RP matters.

I think!

Funny... nothing Ive seen here yet looks like RP. Just players having friendly conversation.

To have it all deleted, especially with no warning/explanation certainly does not encourage me to get involved in the region. I may have to rethink this move.

I assume it was because Koyro wanted a clutter-free RMB because you were personally chatting.

Still, it seems a bit unreasonable though; it was just harmless chat.

RP in RMB is nonexistable, I mean planning RP's in here is most propable.

I decided to retcon Ainin abolishing its upper house in 2012. The Parliament of Ainin is now bicameral.

The upper house, the House of Censure (Chambre de censure), has 49 seats distributed equally to provinces (each province has 7 executive deputies). Executive deputies are appointed by provincial premiers on the advice of their cabinets at the same time as the lower house is elected. The house does not have the right of legislative initiative, and votes on bills after they've passed the House of Deputies. The House of Censure can, however, impeach (remove) or censure (condemn) government officials such as the President, judges and civil servants. It cannot remove the Cabinet or Prime Minister. The President of Ainin is appointed and confirmed by the House of Censure. The House of Censure cannot amend bills unless explicitly given the right by the House of Deputies.

The House of Censure, since it cannot remove an elected government, is legally forced to pass supply bills (e.g. budget bills).

The lower house, the House of Deputies (Chambre des députés), has 451 seats (this number expands with the population) distributed proportionately. It has the right of legislative initiative, but may not impeach, censure or remove a government bureaucrat. It can however remove the elected government of the day as well as the Speaker of the House through a no-confidence motion.

Considering how large outbursts and large-scale arguments occur from time to time, it can get hard for people to get used to the region if they're newcomers.

Suppressed messages can still be read, though.

Yeah.... if that friendly conversation was enough of an outburst to warrant deletion and theres not enough respect for new members to let them know what they did wrong, then it strongly suggests that new members are valued very lowly.

Sorry, I've never had posts suppressed before. I did not know that.

It didn't look particularly friendly to me, that's why i suppressed it.

Not unless a moderator does it. In a mod-suppressing case, you can't read it.

Woah, what happened here?

Fjaalberg wrote:Woah, what happened here?

A mass suppression of posts, said to be unfriendly by one side and said to be harmless on the other side. It's stuff like this that can make the region less friendly than what it claims to be for newcomers.

Cool. I had a former nation that I made in 2012 too. Time flies, eh?

So that was why you chose this day as your national holiday. But meh. I've been on here for over five years now.

Also, fixed typos.
