Seconded. That was a joy to read.

Something I wondered: how much in advance do you guys create your RP lines for something long such as the WC?
For me, by example, I knew I had a character, I had his motivations and weaknesses and a bit of a target (no idea if he'll ever get there) but the sentiment of the day, the tension of the RP depends fully on the result the team did. If my squad keeps messing up, Henrik will have a tough time, I'm afraid.
How do you do that? Have it almost written out? Or just start from scratch each day?

Broadly speaking I don't go into it with any real plans, letting the storyline make itself from the results. The few times I have tried to make pre-written storylines, the results have utterly crucified me - even the little player-centred parts in the WCQ69 RPs were pre-written, and, well, we all know that ended badly. So part of it's superstition, I guess.

I have the same trouble. Every WC where I've had a pre-written story I've either performed abjectly or not enjoyed RPing as much. World Cup 67, by far my best World Cup to date, was a relatively poor RP level for me, so I dunno. Maybe it's just I'm running out of ideas to RP about these days.

I normally do a mental scheme of how will run the RP during the qualifiers, with the results or another national traditions that I decide to RP in that time. I feel identified with Apox and Nephara in that sense, previous WC RP ideas or pre written RP's made me suffer the last WC, getting eliminated after doing an splendid first half.

So, I'd suggest to don't do pre written RP's, will screw your luck :p

I literally came up with my RP plan three hours before the first cutoff.

I don't usually do RP lines unless I'm collaborating. Then it kinda depends on who I'm working with and how they like to do things.

Same here, though I'm currently working on a pre-written RP for tomorrow, since it's Thanksgiving and I won't have time to write one that day. My RP with Gloriax was mostly planned in advance, though we did make some changes as we went along and it wasn't pre-written at all. But unless it's collaborative, I don't pre-determine it unless I know I won't be able to RP on a certain day, which is rare.

Yeah..i connect historical, traditional and political-social contexts with soccer and i give my opinion what a few things in soccer and connect it into NSSports soccer,is my way to RP and because i don't have much time to it i plan a one day before each MD...
