We are requesting permission to allow our naval ships to dock in Libreville to pick up troops, aid organisations, and equipment.

Our military coordination centre was in Libreville, hopefully there is no confrontation with our forces stationed there.

Hey, The Orson Empire, how long does Turner reign exactly? Like, what years?

This is the national Zombie Killing song:

You're deader than dead,
because you're already dead.
If that wasn't obvious,
you're dead dead dead dead.

Raptor Class Droid:
Armament: 4 Hardlight Auto-Repeaters

The Raptor is a rather unusual droid used by the Imperial Army, modeled after a crow. The "wings" house chemical and biological weapons, the wingtips and metal, streamlined "feather" tips acting as dispersal units. Each wing also has a pair of Hardlight Auto-Repeater mounted under it. The Raptor has a broad-range jamming unit to isolate the units it attacks, and is equipped with ad advanced sensor array to enable it to preform reconnaissance or spot targets for other platforms. The Raptor has an angular, Art Deco-inspired body, and in its undercarriage a pair of speakers are mounted, as is a Mesmer unit, and is primarily used as an anti-infantry unit and dispersal unit, but it is often used for recon and scouting missions. It is fast and maneuverable enough to dodge most ground fire but in a dogfight the Raptor is sorely outmatched. The Raptor can be deployed by a variety of platforms, including submarines.

Lylat Defense Forces

The Lylat Defense Forces, commonly called the LDF, is the military force of the Lylat System. In addition to warships and advanced weaponry, the army consists of legions of Cornerians and citizens of other planets within the Lylat System. Although the troops of the LDF was mainly consisted of Cornerians, the LDF eventually began to integrate soldiers and citizens from across the Lylat System into its armed forces.

Over 10 years after the 2nd F/M-S War, the Lylat System stood on the brink of civil war. As the Venom Crisis threatened to split the system between the Allied Union of Lylat and a breakaway state, known as the Venomian Empire, the Cornerians and the inhabitants of Katina voted to grant the Allied Union emergency powers in case of an invasion. Using these new powers, the Cornerians gathered some of the elites of the Cornerian Army to organize the Lylat Defense Force a few years into the war. The Lylat System's new forces, led by General Pepper of the Cornerian Army, led a massive defense against the Venomian Invasion of Corneria and secured the first Cornerian victory in the conflict that became known as the Lylat Wars.

For a little over a year, the Defense Forces fought throughout much of the war-torn system. The Cornerian Elites eventually served alongside soldiers and citizens from across the Lylat System in the war against the Venomians. Following the end of the war, after the defeat of the leader of the Venomian Army, Andross, the Lylat Defense Force was formally reorganized into the Grand Army of the Lylat System.

History

The Lylat Conflict

In 2020, a Cornerian Scientist by the name of Andross conducted an experiment that resulted in an explosion within the Cornerian Capital of Corneria City, killing hundreds of civilians. For many years, Andross ignored the warnings and direct orders to stop his experiments by General Pepper, General of the Cornerian Army and Defense Force. This was the last straw for General Pepper, so he ordered Andross to be exiled on the barren, deserted planet of Venom where it was assumed that he would not survive. There he discovered a race of reptilians that inhabited the planet, which he soon began to guide them towards having a hatred towards the Cornerians. Following spending time with them and performing experiments on himself, he formed the Venomian Army and declared himself Emperor of the Lylat System.

In 2025, five years after exiling Andross to Venom, General Pepper received reports of new biotechnology experiments taking place on Venom. He recruited a band of mercenaries known as the Star Fox team to investigate. The team consisted of three members, including founder/leader James McCloud, Peppy Hare and Pigma Dengar.

Upon their arrival to Venom, the team of three agents penetrated the defenses of the planet, but Pigma revealed himself as a traitor and allowed James and Peppy to be captured by Andross. James was killed and Peppy barely managed to escape. He returned to Corneria to inform General Pepper of the treachery of Pigma and the growing danger from the exiled mad ape, and to tell James's son Fox McCloud, about his father's fate.

In 2035, Andross declared war, unleashing the Venomian Army onto the Lylat system, thus beginning the Lylat Wars. As the evil hand of Andross stretched from Venom across the Lylat Solar System towards Corneria, seemed that all may have been lost. The forces of Corneria were no match for the hatred of Andross and his vile creations and countless lives were lost in the conflict. World after world fell to the forces of Venom until only Corneria stood free. At last, General Pepper made the decision to contact Fox McCloud, the son of James McCloud, who now led the Star Fox team, to aid in his struggle to defend Corneria City. It was the last chance and the final hope for Corneria.

Without hesitation, Fox and his colleagues signed on with the Cornerian Air Force commanded by General Pepper. These mercenary warriors represented the finest pilots and fighters in the Lylat System: Fox, the leader, Peppy Hare, the grizzled campaigner, Falco Lombardi, the brash but courageous lieutenant, and Slippy Toad, the mechanical wizard. They became the final hope in fending off the opposing forces of Venom and saving the Lylat system from utter destruction.

Sensing an invasion by Venomian Forces, the Cornerians gathered some of the elites of the Cornerian Army to organize the Lylat Defense Force. The Lylat System's new forces, led by General Pepper of the Cornerian Army, tried to prepare for an invasion of Corneria, but were not fast enough to prepare...

The Lylat Wars

Venom’s invasion of Corneria resulted in thousands of casualties, both civilian and military. Venom’s break through the planet’s defenses left the Cornerian Army weakened by the attack and stood no chance against the forces of Andross. Led by an ape named Granga and his special mech, the Venomian Army decimated Corneria City, leaving it in complete ruin. After Pepper’s initial contact with the Star Fox team, the invaders were dispose of and Granga was killed. In an attempt to keep Corneria occupied, however, Andross assigned a certain Venomian lizard and his special ship, the Attack Carrier, to finish off Star Fox. This failed, however, and the warship was destroyed and its crew killed. Remnants of the enemy ascended to the skies and retreated into space.

An asteroid field known as Meteo, located on the outskirts of Corneria, was where the invaders decided to ambush their pursuers. It was also the site of detected wormhole radiation that suggested space warps may have been part of Andross's invasion plans, if not for the investigation of Star Fox. The asteroid field also became the site of a major battle between Star Fox and the Venomian Army. The Meteo Crusher was deployed in hopes to regain the advantage the enemy once had. It too was destroyed by the efforts of Star Fox, causing a spread of word across Venom’s lieutenants that Star Fox was quickly advancing through their defenses.

The main Cornerian battle fleets engaged in a desperate melee with Venom’s forces in Sector Y. Venom deployed their Shogun Troopers and devastated the attackers within minutes. Support from the Dorisby-class_Battleships and Grazan-class_Carrier ships made targeting much easier for the Shogun Warriors until the timely arrival of Star Fox. Saving the Cornerian fleet, they took down the Shogun and its flagship the Saruzin, ending Corneria’s struggle in advancement.

Corneria’s defenses on the Lylat system’s ice planet were overwhelmed by Venom’s garrison and rumored to have been led by Star Fox’s rivals, the members of Star Wolf, who were rumoured to be in the area. Cornerian intelligence suggested Venom planned an attack that could decimate a large area of the planet unless action was taken by Star Fox. When the team arrived in Fichina there was only but a scattered fleet of Invader I fighters. ROB 64 discovered the Cornerian base on the planet had a bomb planted within it and was rigged to explode within minutes.

Star Wolf, consisting of Wolf O'Donnell, Leon Powalski, Andrew Oikonny, and traitor of the old Star Fox team Pigma, descended from the skies in their Wolfen fighters, serving as a distraction while the bomb’s timer went off. The sky battle between both mercenaries was ended with the supposed demise of Star Wolf, leaving Fox himself to deactivate the bomb and save the base.

Katina came under intense attack by the Venomian Army when Star Fox came to Corneria’s aid. Bill Grey, an old friend and ally of Fox, was in charge of defending the planet from attack, leading the Cornerian Husky Squadron and Bulldog Squadrons. Venom’s Invader II Fighters swarmed the military base, gaining the higher advantage due to the deceptive matching colors as the Cornerian Fighter. Fox and his team succeeded in relieving Bill’s beleaguered squadrons by identifying friend from foe using the Arwing’s advanced combat computers.

When the first waves of enemies were defeated, Venom’s main assault craft, the Saucerer, arrived and released hundreds of more fighters in an attempt to overwhelm the defenders. Distracting Star Fox was the main purpose of the attack as the Saucerer charged a powerful weapon located at its core. Bill was watchful of this during the battle, alerting Fox every time the ship’s hatches opened to release more enemy fighters.

Venom's swarm was plowed through and the exposed core was destroyed, obliterating the Saucerer and ending the battle. They retreated into space and Katina was saved from annihilation. Departing, Bill thanked Fox personally for his efforts in the fight, bidding him farewell.

Reports indicated that the Venomian Army was spreading a large amount of pollution on the Lylat system’s water planet. Star Fox was sent to investigate using a craft built by Slippy called the Blue Marine. With it, Fox was able to track down and eliminate the creature known as the Bacoon, the source responsible for causing Aquas' former inhabitants to leave. When it was killed, the planet became free of its influence and the end of the polluted waters.

Cornerian spies reported that Andross created a secret research facility in Sector X, but all contact with them was lost. Remote scanning revealed the existence of a debris field but was unable to conclude what had happened. Pepper ordered Star Fox to investigate immediately.

They discovered that the base had been destroyed by a technological weapon called the Spyborg, whose artificial intelligence had malfunctioned and caused it to attack the base. Making their way through waves of enemy fighters and defense systems still active after Spyborg's attack, Star Fox succeeded in reaching the giant construct and destroying it before its rampage could continue elsewhere. Before this was achieved, Spyborg grasped Slippy’s Arwing and sent him flying into the planet Titania, where he would be apprehended by the Venomian Army. Leaving the destroyed enemy base of Sector X, Fox led his team to Titania in search of Slippy, also discovering the existence of an artificial Warp Portal generator, allowing instantaneous travel to Sector Z.

The small star of the Lylat system was detected by Pepper to have been used by the Venomian Army as a location for experimenting on biological weapons. In their hunt for Andross, the Star Fox team discovered Pepper’s assumptions were true as they came across an enormous demonic lava creature dubbed Vulcain. Heat from Solar slowly damaged the Arwing’s armor as it was defenseless against such an atmosphere. Vulcain thrived on this heat and used the star's lava to its advantage. It hurled boulder after boulder at the team using its spiked forelegs. Eventually Star Fox dealt a deathly blow when Vulcain’s head was destroyed. They left Solar in confidence that the Venomian Army would not risk conducting any more experiments in such a harsh environment again.

Rather than taking the Andross's defenses on this once striving planet head-on, the Star Fox team attempted to sneak in quietly passed the now heavily polluted place. A series of radar buoys protected the main supply areas, scanning the heavens with powerful flood lamps, and formed an extensive early warning network. The team was able to destroy the buoys, with some surprise assistance from Katt Monroe, before they could alert the system and proceed to lay waste to the infrastructure.

In the final moments of the attack, Fox confronted the Sarumarine, which was the main source of the planet-wide pollution. In a hard-fought battle Fox destroyed the poisonous submarine and put an end to the origin of the toxic waste, but the planet itself would be a long time in recovery.

On the Lylat system’s desert planet the Venomian Army discovered the underground creature Goras. Through biological experimentation Andross altered its physical appearance by changing it into a machine bent on destruction. Having been held hostage, Slippy was unable to be reached by means of the Arwing. Using the Landmaster, Fox set out to save him from being harmed or even as far as killed. With the aid of Falco and Peppy in the skies the team battled their way through Venom’s defenses. Fox was ambushed by Goras who held Slippy’s Arwing in its grasp, making it impossible for him to escape. Goras was destroyed using the Landmaster and Slippy was saved, ending the conflict on Titania and reclaiming the territory Venom once controlled.

In an attempt to liberate Macbeth and strike a crippling blow to one of Venom’s main sources of industry, Fox, using the Landmaster, chased the supply train Mechbeth. Aided by his teammates in the skies above, he was able to send the train off course into the main base where it was completely destroyed. It was a great loss for Venom, as the planet's outer defenses now became open to direct attack.

It was while attempting to navigate through these debris fields that the Star Fox team came under attack by Andross' army. The ambush was sprung by the latest Invader IIIs escorting a half-dozen Copperhead missiles. Unable to protect itself, the Great Fox launched its fighters in a desperate bid to prevent the missiles from impacting and causing extensive damage. The Star Fox team, assisted by Katt, succeeded in driving off the attackers and destroying all six missiles before they could damage the Great Fox.

Bolse came under intense attack by Star Fox as they led the invasion for Venom. Fox, aware of Bolse’s weakness from stolen design documents, was able to destroy the six generator pylons and expose the core to attack. Not even the arrival of Star Wolf prevented Star Fox from destroying the station and opening the way for Venom's invasion.

Area 6, guarded by space mines, stood as the last obstacle for Star Fox to break through in order to get to Venom. Every line of defense was breached, taking a toll on the Venomian Army’s forces. In a final attempt to stop them, the Gorgon was deployed, resulting in a major battle. Its tactics left the team weary and frustrated, but they soon managed to find the weakness it held at its core. It was destroyed in an enormous explosion, breaking Venom's final defenses and allowing the team to enter the planet's atmosphere.

The invasion of Venom took place during the final moments of the war, before Fox faced Andross himself in his underground palace. Star Wolf had survived their last battle with Star Fox, arriving in the most advanced star fighters in Andross's arsenal, the improved star fighters called the Wolfen II. Once again, both rivals faced off against each other until Star Wolf was ultimately defeated. With no other obstacle left in their path, the Star Fox team was ordered by Fox to stay behind as he alone traveled into the depths of Venom to apprehend Andross.

He managed to find and defeat the emperor in battle, leading to Andross sacrificing himself and causing the destruction of the palace. Had it not been for James' spiritual guidance, Fox would not have survived. He regrouped with Star Fox and traveled to Corneria to inform Pepper that the war was finally over.

The Star Fox Team prevailed as the leaders in the rebellion against Andross, advancing home to Corneria after the death of the self-proclaimed emperor. Saluted by survivor Dog soldiers, General Pepper was so estatic about Star Fox's momentous victory that he offered to honorably have them serve as part of the Cornerian fleet, but Fox declined, claiming that they prefered doing things their own way and on an imminent departure tip from ROB, the team moved out into their next mission.

Having paid the Star Fox team for their duty during the war, Pepper charged the Cornerian Army in the task of searching for any war criminals left within the Lylat system. Most of the Venomian Army’s soldiers surrendered themselves or went into hiding but others retreated to the Sargasso Region of Meteo, establishing an illegal hideout. Star Wolf had also survived their last encounter with Star Fox, but found themselves disbanded after some time. Pigma was expelled due to his greedy and distrustful nature; Wolf and Leon were made leaders of the Sargasso Space Zone (later joined by Panther Caroso) and Andrew would eventually rise to take the place of Andross as Venom’s emperor.

Planet

Macbeth

Planet Type: Class D - Barren Dwarf
Features: Barren, Largely Uninhabitable
Planet Number: 1 (Lylat Prime)

Macbeth is the first planet in the Lylat system and orbits only Lylat Prime. The planet surprisingly supports a thin but breathable atmosphere despite its close proximity to its host star. Macbeth's central location in the Lylat system has made it an ideal logistics and supply base during war time, once for the Cornerian army and later for Venom and the Anglars.

Fortuna

Planet Type: Class M - Major Temperate
Features: Terrestrial, multiple biomes with minor polar ice caps and oceans.
Planet Number: 2 (Lylat Prime)

Fortuna's wild and chaotic ecosystem have made it difficult to colonize despite its ideal atmosphere. Many military bases dot the planet but it has yet to develop many major cities. Fortuna has long been the victim of conflict between the Cornerians and Venomiams, often changing government many times throughout a single war.

Katina

Planet Type: Class H - Arid
Features: Mostly barren desert, minor lakes and ice caps
Planet Number: 3 (Lylat Prime)

Katina has long served as Corneria's first colony and military training base. The planet's orbit is close enough to Corneria to be seen from the surface every sixty three years. Katina is also known for its large fungal growths that spread across the surface of the planet for hundreds of miles during autumn months.

Corneria

Planet Type: Class M - Balanced
Features: Terrestrial, multiple biomes with standard polar ice caps and large oceans.
Planet Number: 4 (Lylat Prime)

Corneria was the one of the first inhabited planets of the Lylat system and is believed to be the origin of the Cornerian peoples. A fully developed and civilized world, Corniera is largely commercial with minor industrial activity. It is the center of government and military for the Cornerian Army and a prime target for her enemies.

Sauria

Planet Type: Class M - Major Tropical
Features: Terrestrial, multiple biomes with standard polar ice caps and large oceans.
Planet Number: 4 (Vulcan orbit with Corneria)

Sauria shares a vulcan orbit with Corneria, rotating around Lylat Prime at the same rate and direct opposite side of the star. It is likely this orbit is what keeps Katina from colliding into Corneria despite their close proximity. Sauria is rich in flora and fauna but its lack of resources and vicious natives have made it a somewhat ignored target throughout the history of the Lylat System. After the Saurian incident the dominant Sharpclaw Tribes briefly entered an alliance with the Cornerian Army, though lately they have been considering siding with the Anglar Directorate's powerful military force.

Meteo

Asteroid Field Type: Class C

Meteo is a rare Class C Asteroid Field: its contents are dangerously close to each other and make navigation extremely difficult. Many ships prefer to go over or under the belt, though a fleet that can sneak through the hazards can catch nearby planets and fleets off guard.

Fichina

Planet Type: Class P - Glaciated
Features: Mostly tundra and frozen land. Very few uncovered liquid oceans.
Planet Number: 5 (Lylat Prime)

Though Fichina is mostly barren and not suitable for colonization, it has long served as a deposit for many Cornerian research projects, notably bomb development. Many military outposts dot the vast surface of the planet as well, making it an ideal location for refueling Cornerian fighter craft during war time.

Aquas

Planet Type: Class O - Pelagic
Features: Ocean dominate, no land masses.
Planet Number: 6 (Lylat Prime)

Long before the Cornerians became a developed and space faring people an ancient and technologically advanced civilization of amphibians thrived on the planet of Aquas. It is unknown what led to the demise of their people, though surviving members claim they were destroyed in a war centuries prior. The survivors have long worked on Aquas to rediscover their ancient technology with the help of the Cornerian Army.

Papetoon

Planet Type: Class K - Arid Terraformed
Features: Barren, minor deserts.
Planet Number: 7 (Lylat Prime)

Originally an uninhabitable and barren rock with no atmosphere, Papetoon underwent minor terraforming but was later abandoned because of the planet's lack of resources and small size. Since then it has hosted very small colonies that have carved out a meager living on the harsh outback surface. Imported plant and animal life have already begun spreading slowly across its surface.

Solar

Star Type: Class M - Red Dwarf

Solar is the sister star of Lylat Prime. Significantly smaller and cooler, the temeratures of Solar are low enough for land masses to have formed. This has caused debate amongst the astronomers of Coneria on whether to classify Solar as a star or planet, though many prefer to define it as a star because of its gravitational effects on several planets in the Lylat System.

Sargasso Region

Asteroid Field Type: Class B

The Sargasso Region is a sparse asteroid field that orbits Solar. It is composed of the remains of the planet Eladard which was destroyed by Venom mining operations. Many sensor disrupting gasses from Solar become trapped in the Sargasso Region after solar flares, making it an ideal hideout for various pirate and raider bases.

Titania

Planet Type: Class H - Arid
Features: Major deserts, no ice caps or bodies of water
Planet Number: 8 (Lylat Prime) 1 (Solar)

Titania is a massive and barren desert planet that has served as a military base and bio weapon development center for Venom. The planet is distant enough from Lylat Prime to be effected by Solar, orbiting both stars. Titania passes very close to both Solar and Lylat Prime twice in its orbit, forcing most life to retreat underground during these periods.

Zoness

Planet Type: Class O - Pelagic
Features: Toxic ocean dominant, minor land masses.
Planet Number: 9 (Lylat Prime) 2 (Solar)

Zoness was once a beautiful and completely habitable ocean planet that served as a waste disposal dump for the Cornerian Army. After Venom's takeover of the planet Zoness and the destruction of Eladard it became their chemical production and waste dump as well. The planet's atmosphere and oceans are now lethally toxic to most life, save for the few lifeforms that adapted to the horrid and corrosive waters.

Venom

Planet Type: Class Y - Demon
Features: Toxic atmosphere, balanced land and ocean masses.
Planet Number: 10 (Lylat Prime) 3 (Solar)

Venom was once a barren but habitable planet at the edge of the Lylat system until Andross experimented with terraforming the planet. Unfortunately his developments damaged the planet further, killing off many of its inhabitants. Promising to the save the local reptilian populations, Andross struck an alliance and the planet developed into a major industrial center. It long served as the base of operations for Andross' forces until the Anglars rose from its oceans and annexed the world in their name.

Sector O

Nebula Type: Class O - Omega Gas

Sector O is a part of the large gaseous ring at the very edge of the Lylat System. The orbit of Solar around Lylat Prime occasionally brings the majority of Sector O near Fortuna, Fichina, and Venom. The thing that sets this nebula apart from the other Sectors in the Lylat System is that Sector O is a large purplish-blue nebula that is shape like an 'Ω', a letter in the Grecian Alphabet.

Sector X

Nebula Type: Class X - Xenon Gas

Sector X is part of the large gaseous ring at the very edge of the Lylat System. The orbit of Solar around Lylat Prime occasionally brings the majority of Sector X near Fichina and Titania. Sector X has a tendency to cause electromagnetic disturbances and messes with scanning devices, making it an idea location to hide fleets and even entire bases from enemies.

Sector Y

Nebula Type: Class Y - Chlorine and other Noble Gases

Sector Y is part of the large gaseous ring at the very edge of the Lylat System. The orbit of Solar around Lylat Prime occasionally brings Sector Y close to Corneria, Katina, and Aquas. There is nothing really notable about Sector Y as its gases have little to no effect on ships passing through. Corneria occasionally uses Sector Y as a staging area for its fleets depending on its distance from enemy targets.

Sector Z

Nebula Type: Class Z - Neon and other Noble Gases

Sector Z is part of the large gaseous ring at the very edge of the Lylat System. The orbit of Solar around Lylat Prime occasionally brings Sector Z close to Zoness and Venom. Venom once used Sector Z as a staging area for their fleets and it currently houses a forward base of operations for their remnant forces.

Aparoid Homeworld

Planet Type: Class Z - Artificial
Features: Mechanical mass
Planet Number: 5 (Aparoid Homeworld System)

The mysterious Aparoid Homeworld has been left in lifeless ruin ever since the destruction of the Aparoid Queen. Billions of empty husks and Aparoid ships drift in orbit of the planet, many of them falling to and slowly destroying the giant artificial construct.

Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 77 m
Primary Weapons: Aparoid Chaingun, Aparoid Welder
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

Infestors serve as the backbone of the Aparoid forces. Not only are these decently armed creatures able to hold in battle, but they are capable of latching unto enemy craft and converting them for Aparoid use. They are vulnerable to smaller fighter craft that are fast enough to avoid their grappling legs.

Aparoid Royal Command

Type: Command
Maneuverability: Good
Armor: High
Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 177 m
Primary Weapons: Aparoid Chaingun, Aparoid Welder
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

Aparoid Royals serve as command and control entities, directing the Aparoid fleets into battle. They are also capable of creating Aparoid Nests to manufacture and spawn additional units. They can utterly control and dominate any Aparoid organism, save for other Royals and the Queen herself. The massive armor plating makes the Royal extremely resistant to all but the heaviest of weapons, and must be blown off before the creature can be damaged.

Aparoid Blockage and Siege Suppressor

Type: Blockage and Siege
Maneuverability: Poor
Armor: High
Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 395 m
Primary Weapons: Aparoid Wing Rings, Aparoid Chaingun
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

The massive Aparoid Suppressors are deployed by Aparoid invasions to secure and blockade cities, bases, and even entire planets. Powerful dorsal armor protects their backs from orbital attack, while their ventral surface is brimming with suppressive firepower that can down capital ships with ease.

Aparoid Heavy Assault Aggressor

Type: Heavy Assault
Maneuverability: Poor
Armor: High
Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 345 m
Primary Weapons: Aggressor Beam, Aparoid Chaingun
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

These large behemoth monsters are some of the biggest Aparoids on record. Designed and grown with the single purpose of destroying whatever targets the Aparoids fail to assimilate, the Aggressor can tear apart fleets with ease, though they are susceptible to small fighter craft.

Aparoid Manufacture and Production Nest

Type: Manufacture and Production
Maneuverability: None
Armor: High
Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 637 m
Primary Weapons: Aparoid Welder
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

The massive Aparoid Nests are self sufficient manufacturing complexes that can churn out Aparoid Larva at a steady rate. Though they are durable and armed with weaponry, Nests are often created in hidden or heavy defensible locations to keep them out of fire as much as possible.

Aparoid Manufacture and Production Nest

Type: Manufacture and Production
Maneuverability: None
Armor: High
Manufacturer: Aparoids
Length: 637 m
Primary Weapons: Aparoid Welder
Secondary Weapons: Aparoid Rupture Cannon

The massive Aparoid Nests are self sufficient manufacturing complexes that can churn out Aparoid Larva at a steady rate. Though they are durable and armed with weaponry, Nests are often created in hidden or heavy defensible locations to keep them out of fire as much as possible.

Our military coordination centre was in Libreville, hopefully there is no confrontation with our forces stationed there.

The blockade is now gone, so Imperial High Command will allow it. However, Imperial soldiers will be watching, in case some Gabonese attempt to sneak onto a Timmian ship and escape Orson.

Much worse than Stalin actually.

Corsahnim wrote:Hey, The Orson Empire, how long does Turner reign exactly? Like, what years?

Turner first came to power over Orson in 2000; at this time, Orson was still a constitutional monarchy. After serving four terms, or 20 years as the Governor of New Guinea, Turner ran for the position of Prime Minister and won, making him the most powerful man in Orson (even more powerful than the Emperor, due to the way the constitutional system was set up).

Turner was Prime Minister for 3 years, until he was proclaimed the new Emperor in 2003 after Emperor Thorseus was assassinated; Turner and Thorseus had a very good relationship, and Thorseus had adopted Turner as his son prior to his death, making him the heir of the Empire (as Thorseus had no other children). Turner remains Emperor for 20 years, until 2026 when he died from complications from the Scourge Syndrome (read my factbook for more info on this).

A short message would scroll over the comms, requesting 12 LAAT Gunships with the best units available to be split into two even teams and dispatched to the set coordinates.

The Frames would work to cover the Sterkian and Felucian, while also evacuating civilians. Two frames worked to keep a building from collapsing while two more recovered the civilians inside.
Sterkian infantry would jump the barriers set up and rush into the no-mans land, firing grenades ahead of them to cover their push, their shields keeping them safe from the low-power rifles used by the Orion troopers. Once they reached the enemy line, they cut them down easily, preparing for another push to take yet another Orion position.
Sterkian gunships would land behind the barricades, dropping off units and equipment, most notably, artillery.

(Instead of Airports the Provincial capital has 5 spaceports, which do not have a whole lot of room to maneuver in, and are basically spaceship parking garages.) The City itself would be made up of multiple layers of transparent glass pedestrian roads with buildings stacked on top of one another, in the middle of these roads is a chamber with doorways that open remotely when monorails inside these chambers arrive to that area for people to board or leave for another part of the city. Hundreds of thousands of people would be living there, with immense biodiversity -- To go from layer to layer, there is the spaceport elevators for landing to access an area of the city, or along the rows of buildings there are some cargo and personnel elevators (and some stairs) to bring people and goods between layers of the city. The Monorail also has a cargo section for goods to be easily, and freely transported around the city.
Robotic infantry with strange energy weapons (Point-Repulsion Rifles, much weaker than any other point repulsion weapon except for maybe point repulsion pistols.. But still plenty strong enough to take out someone that isn't in a vehicle and in numbers take out vehicles as well) would patrol the streets in patrols lead by a volunteer soldier in ceremonial dress (With personal shielding active to make them not completely vulnerable, they are in ceremonial dress due to the low level of violence in the area not requiring them to put on combat armor.) each. Most of the patrol leaders, afraid of accidents, have their squads set to manual engagement, only able to engage those either attacking military forces or those designated by their patrol leader.
The City seems fairly multicultural with most of the cuisines and goods produced worldwide and sometimes even from other galaxies available for purchase there.

As time passed, the groups of pilots began to return to their frames, to prepare them for takeoff, some wearing new clothes, others up to their necks in souvenirs. The pilots began preparing their frames, some flew out of the spaceport and over the city at a safe height to test their weapons, sparring with their Beam sabers and main guns.

Post self-deleted by The Orson Empire.

Interesting Fact: Turner's takeover of the Orson Empire and its transformation into a dictatorship was all planned and calculated by Turner for decades, ever since he began his political career in 1970. Turner had originally planned to launch a coup on the Imperial Senate and install himself into power in the 1990s, with the help of the Imperial Brotherhood; they would use the distraction and chaos of the 2nd Orson Civil War to take power. However, Turner did not go through with it, as he had slowly lost his trust of the Brotherhood over the years, believing that he was just a pawn in a much greater game the Brotherhood was playing. Because of this, a rift formed between Turner and the Brotherhood, and he eventually left the criminal syndicate. Turner decided that he would play the long con, building up the trust of the Orsonian people and taking power over Orson at the right time.

That time finally came in 2006. The Senate was not on good terms with Turner for various reasons, especially due to the brutal reconquests of territory that had broken away from Orson during the civil war. The final straw came when Turner ordered his armies to invade Orsonian Congo; the Senate had already passed a bill that made Orsonian Congo a free nation, after negotiating with its leaders. Turner was arrested for high treason and abuse of Imperial power.

This order wasn't given randomly- this was a cold, calculated move by Turner. Turner knew that ordering the Imperial Military to do this would get him arrested, and the Orsonian people would come to his defense (as Turner was highly popular among the people, but the people hated the Senate). Turner also did it to truly test the loyalty of the Imperial Military to him.

Not only did the Imperial Military illegally invade the Congo, but they also broke Turner out of jail. From this point on, Turner took advantage of the people's outrage at the Senate and other fears and prejudices to install his totalitarian regime; the first thing he did was dissolve the Senate, with the aid of the military, and install himself back into power. Then, he eliminated anyone and anything that would be a threat to his regime. Finally, he dissolved the constitutional monarchy itself.

The LA-AT/i Gunships would be deployed from the nearby Venator and would rush to the coordinates, each carrying a group of T-850's led by a Clone Destroyer, the most elite Clone Troopers in the Republic. As they dropped off the soldiers, a small group of LA-AT/i Gunships would arrive to remove their custom complement of two STAP-2 Speeders for the soldiers to use. The T-850's would be equipped with DC-15A Blaster Rifles, DC-15S Blasters, M9 High-Explosive Dual-Purpose Grenades, and Type-1 Antipersonnel Grenades. The Clone Destroyers would be armed with their standard custom lightsaber (OOC: I need name suggestions for the Clone Destroyer Lightsaber), a Phantom Ebony Long Rifle, a HC-P994C Plasma Sub-Machine Gun and Void Flux Grenades.

The soldiers would help the Sterkian forces against any opposition they faced, and at the same time, various ships would drop off J-1 Semi-Autonomous Proton Cannons and AV-7 Antivehicle Cannons to use as artillery. Meanwhile, a group of Zone Fighters would be sent to help the Mobile Frames in evacuating and protecting the civilians.

A couple of Ocearan fighters would fly by the sparring frames "Hey, just because you are distant vertically doesn't mean it is safe to spar here! There is just under a million people down there, and I don't want anyone recklessly risking their lives! Move it!" the squadron leader would send via comms.

Two Sterkian gunships would load up with one of the LAAT/i's and fly toward the Orion cruiser.
The DR-008 fired all it's weapons at one point in the hull, searing a hole, through which the craft entered. Unloading quickly and pushing toward the gun deck. A Sterkian Captain pushed his men on ordering the Felcian units to push toward the bridge and blow it to pieces.

On the ground the Sterkians had pushed up to another Orion position, and were now using the gained area to search for survivors, a gunship had been modified into a field hospital and was treating injured soldiers and civilians.
The Sterkian artillery rolled forward, firing a round that decimated an Orion rear line.
The Felucian elite troops were given orders to disable the Orion ground forces communications array, leaving them without air support.

Due to the Sterkian frames emitting high amounts of DR particles and the proper communications wavelength had not been shared with the Ocearans, the message got lost in white noise, and they continued to spar, now more intensely.

The Squadron leader would send a message to The Defense Fortress that the frames are not listening to warnings and have increased their risk to the land population. The Fortress would deliver orders to the nearest four defensive batteries to fire warning shots into the open air near the frames before sending another warning communication for the frames to leave -- hoping the explosions would get their attention.

The explosions indeed got their attention, however not in the way they wanted. The frames raised their cannons in the direction of the batteries, searching. Before opening a communications link to the Defense Fortress.
"That wasn't you was it." The pilot growled, obviously agitated.

"Your wish is our command." The pilot said sarcastically before closing the connection and they returned to base, purposely going as low as possible in an attempt to piss off the officer, their feet barely 5 metres off the ground in some places.

(Okay). They happily take the fighters warnings, and continue toward the other mobile frames, who are now taking off and preparing to return to the cruiser.
