Model VII Mass Deployment Battle Drone
Designed: 2217
The Model VII, commonly shortened to just "Drones" is the most up-to-date rendition of the Ocearan Battle Drone. Unlike previous models used on Earth during the various Terran Conflicts, the Model VII is not of a missile-based-design, and instead is designed solely as a ranged unit rather than doubling as a suicide unit. The VII (also referred to as the Vee) drone has an internal fusion reactor for power and assuming no damage is sustained can continuously fly around and fire it's weapons nonstop for several weeks. For weapons systems it has two laser repeaters and one central plasma cannon which simply heats up part of the air in front of it until it turns to plasma and then propels it forward -- this design allows the drone to be very small due to not having to carry ammunition. It is essentially a bunch of sensors and a few weapons strapped to a plasma fusion generator and plasma engine. It uses it's high mobility and small size to avoid incoming fire and combined with the fact they are deployed in massive swarms makes it difficult to completely avoid damage from them.

The Average "Vee" Drone is about the size of a basket ball and can reach a maximum altitude(at earth gravity and atmospheric pressure) of 12,000 feet.

The Citadel, Mobile Maximum High Security Federal Prison
The Citadel is one of few Mobile Maximum High Security Federal Prisons within the Galactic territories and is known for being one of the most notorious and best known prisons in the Republic. The Citadel holds some of the most ruthless criminals within the Republic and also provides housing for the Bureau of Prisons staff and their families. Originating as an Eclipse Class Dreadnought, the Citadel contains hundreds of cellblocks, the warden's office, a visitation room, a library, various barber shops located throughout the ship, six dining halls, six kitchens, and 10 hospital sectors (not including the basic areas such as the bridge, engine rooms, etc.). The thousands of prison cells typically measured to be around 2.7 meters from the floor to the ceiling, 1.5 meters from one side to the other, and around 2.1 meters from the cell door to the back wall. They were specifically designed to be primitive and lack privacy, with a bed, a desk, a washbasin, a toilet, and a few furnishings except for a blanket. Typically the lower levels of the ship houses the worst of the inmates and are designated as "The Pit", where the worst behaving prisoners are sent for periods of punishment, often brutally so. The dining halls and kitchens are housed in the middle of the ship in massive areas re-worked on to house many prisoners and staff where they would eat three meals a day together. The Hospitals are located above the dining halls, in areas that are easy to reach from either side of the ship for both prisoners and staff alike.

Being an Eclipse Class Dreadnought, the Citadel is 17.5 kilometers in length, has 6 engine units, and has a Class 2 Hyperdrive and a Backup Class 6 Hyperdrive. It also carries the standard armament of an Eclipse Class Dreadnought consisting of an Axial Superlaser, 550 Heavy Laser Cannons, 500 Turbolasers, 75 Ion Cannons, 100 Tractor Beam Projectors, and 10 Gravity Well Projectors to protect itself from any attacks. The hangars are still used by the standard complement of 600 TIE/IN interceptors, 96 TIE/sa bombers, 100 All Terrain Armored Transport walkers, and 5 Prefabricated garrison bases, all of which are stored across the ship away from the prisoners for standard use by the military. With hundreds of thousands of staff and prisoners aboard the ship, the ship carries enough food and supplies to last everyone on the ship for up to 10 years without needing to restock on any of the necessities.

Impressive! A prison based off of a dreadnought. Unusual. Interesting.

The ship travels across the Republic's Home Galaxy and never stays in one sector of space for an extended period of time unless ordered to by the Senate or Presidential Powers.

Also, just as an interesting fact: The Citadel may or may not have been inspired by Alcatraz.

Fascinating.

Even though this a few days late, let us all have a moment of silence in remembrance of Michael Leader, the stormtrooper that infamously slammed his helmet into the blast doors on the death star back in A New Hope...

He sadly entered the great death star in the sky earlier this week.

The Torchwood Agents advanced into the crypt. Intel suggested the Ancient was using it as a nesting ground. Agent Thomas Collins, commander of the team of eight, ordered the team split into two squads of 4. They adjusted their combat armor beneath their armored trenchcoats, and ensured their shields were active. A Drakul stinger would hit the shield, but not penetrate, rendering them impervious to infection. Alpha Squad, led by Collins, plunged deep into the northernmost catacombs, hoping to find and kill their prey, while Beta Squad, led by Agent Nathaniel Green, would search the southern catacombs.

Beta Squad:
The Agents pushed through the catacombs. There was a quiet, eerie, clicking noise, like several tongues simultaneously clucking in rapid succession. The Agents advanced toward the noise. They saw several Drakul, making the weird noises, facing away from them. Green lined up a shot on one of their heads, and pulled the trigger. The nine inch silver spike slammed through the skull of what used to be an Evolved like a sledgehammer, instantly killing it. Simultaneous shots from his cohorts destroyed the other vampires. Green was about to order the team to move up, when he heard...something. It was a sort of, a sort of, a sort of humming, mixed with static. The noise got louder and more intense, the humming turning into a very high screech-like sound. He clutched his head, trying to block out the noise. He sank to his knees, unable to stand. The three other crack Torchwood Agents sagged as well. Green could barely register anything anymore, just that noise....inside him. Inside his head. He barely noticed when his communications shut down. His shield flickered and failed, as the noise became even more intense. His body started writhing, diverting biomass on its own to try to block the noise by shutting off his auditory senses. But, impossibly, he could still hear it. He could barely see, the pain the noise was causing was making him see spots and stars. He did see, the dust kick up, and his trenchcoat billow as something entered the room at an inhuman speed. Had the other Agents arrived to help his team?

No, he couldn't think. He could barely process what he was seeing, the noise was blocking everything else, overriding his mental faculties. He saw an impossibly pale figure, tall and wane, it's fingernails like claws, it's eyes a bloody red. It effortlessly picked up the nearest Agent by the neck with one hand, and smiled evilly as it enjoyed the Agent's screams. The Evolved stilled instantly as the noise became impossibly loud, and the stinger shot out of the figures mouth, draining him dry. It let him sag to the floor and moved onto the next one...

Alpha Squad:
Collins tried contacting Beta again. Their comms were dark. "Beta Squad, this is Alpha, respond, over." Still nothing, same as the last four times. He ordered the other Agents to tighten their formation, and move back. They would go to Beta's last known location, and try to make contact...

The Ancient enjoyed its latest bloodmeals. The eight elite Agents were nothing compared to him. Eight highly trained Evolved, with advanced technology and weapons designed specifically to kill his kind, and they still ended up as his latest meal. As their bodies changed, he rifled through their minds like a thief through a safe, greedily poring over the secrets of Torchwood, or at least what the Agents knew of. He found very little pertaining to him or his kind, other than infection protocols(kill immediately if someone is infected), and things like that. Nothing that would be of use to him. He felt thirsty again. He would feed again shortly. He vanished in a blur of superhuman speed, leaving the behind eight corpses.

My assessment is that Torchwood needs to either use stealth tactics, or if that is not possible -- Leave combat missions to the Cybusian Military which has more experience in straight-up combat against a vast variety of enemies in it's long history of service fighting the enemies of the Cybusian Empire.

Does anyone use the alien Weapons from Fallout already? Because I think my nation would kinda like the Alien Atomizer, Atomic Pulverizer, and the Alien Disintegrator. Which the last one is kinda funny since it is a rifle, but is more specialized for closer-range fighting due to inaccuracy but with really good damage, while the earlier two are pistols but are dead-on accurate with lower damage making them suitable for longer range engagements.

Reason this popped up is because I am doing another playthrough of Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta (With the Mothership Zeta Crew mod, which I personally consider to the best mod for FO3.)

I think Cybus does, since Fallout items are seen in his nation a lot.

I haven't seen those three yet though. Also Andrew has (or at least had in the past) T-45d Power Armor from fallout 3.

Agents are very adept at combat. But we had no idea that Ancients could disrupt shields.

Indeed.

I'm already nervous, because I have to write a dissertation my senior year of college...

What is a dissertation? I keep forgetting! XD

And don't worry, you'll have plenty of time before you have to worry about that.
