The Orson Empire wrote:Cybus: Well.....in the 2600s, a group known as the Committee for the Re-establishment of the Empire (CRE) seizes power in a coup and once again re-establishes the Orson Empire in the form of the Third Imperium. By this time, Orson has control over 3 Forges (one was taken from the Darthamians after they were defeated during a war, and another one was discovered). However, I need to have control over these Forges, as I think me and Andrew go to war again for a fourth time.

Also, if you manage to destroy the Forge (which would be very difficult even for the Cybusians due to its immensely tough armor), the ensuing explosion would be so massive that it would destroy the entire star system. During the Darthamian War, this actually happened when the Orsonians destroyed the Forge they controlled. The Orsonians did it by planting an anti-matter bomb inside the Forge's core, which caused the entire space station to explode and destroy the entire star system.

Well then.

Also, the destroying the memories would be the best bet for hampering a Consumption. Trying to fight Blacklight on a genetic level is like trying to fight a fire with gasoline.

Indeed.

And you're welcome!

An FT war between you and Orson?!?
Could I participate? Possibly? Maybe in a limited role, since Evolved and my designs are rather....overpowered.

A Human who has been Mesmerized numerous times. Hence the bulging, blackened veins and eerily glowing eyes.

Maybe. I remember me and Andrew talking about this before.

Also Cybus, you are right about the Forges being obsolete, though. Their fabricators are slow, cumbersome, bulky, and require immense amounts of resources and energy to function. Modern fabricators could probably produce far greater amounts of material at a smaller size.

I think of it as a comparison between those old, slow desktop computers in the 1980s and 1990s and the modern, touchscreen computers of today.

Our most recent ones just assemble atoms together without any input. They suck in atoms from the air around them and convert them to what they need to be. Or simply by taking one atom, converting it, and then duplicating it as needed.

Yes, I realize that breaks several laws. But I really don't care.

Interesting.

The Federation is considering swapping out the old fabricators in the Forges and putting modern fabricators in them.

We have discovered a very strange place on the world of Carcassia. We were in Ravka, exploring the Shadow Fold. We have discovered a massive temple to Alex at the heart of the Shadow Fold. It's really, really, really huge. We have found an immense black orb floating in the middle of the temple, with qoutes from Luxe inscribed all over it.
The walls are lined with massive Alex statues, and the place has tons of treasures, as well as offerings and tithes.
We don't know how the offerings and such even got there, since the Shadow Fold is virtually impenetrable. Even our crack Torchwood team struggled to get through.

The orb resembles an ancient, damaged Cyrptum. But somehow, the rest of it has broken off, and its a perfectly spherical black thing floating there. It corresponds to a passenger compartment on the older Cyrptums, which held only one person.

The Shadow Fold is a massive swathe cutting across the continent of Ravka. It is pure shadows, with no natural light penetrating. It's full of insane, feral Volcra(Blacklight infected ravens and crows. Found all over the Empire, but these are feral). The temple is in the very heart of all this.

That would be a good idea. We may be willing to provide some.
Also, did you see my post with the Human who has been Mesmerized too many times?

This occurs in most living creatures if they are ever Mesmerized multiple times. It's not usually seems since the Mesmer rewrites the brain entirely, and is extremely hard to defend against.

However, this "fractured" look is favored by some people who Mesmerize, and they forcibly make their thralls bodies like that. As in, all their veins are like that.

Yes, it was a pretty cool picture.

It's from the movie Skyline. Good movie, I suppose.

Morning all. :3

Apperently the WA thinks we avoid Orson.
(I avoid Qetho most of the time so this is irrelevant)

Interesting Fact: Above the atmosphere of the planet Corneria is an Orbital Gate which turns ships of many sizes, and their crew, into energy and thransmits them across the galaxy to their destination, which is where they are converted back into matter. The Station, while being a way of transportation, is also a science station for many scientists.

Hello. Just took a practice AP Gov test. It started at 8:30.
I woke up at six. But it was easy. Our teachers quizzes are harder than that, and that was last years test.

Why did you wake up at six?
I woke up an hour ago or so dude O _ O

Anyone on?

Fun fact: Now you all know how Emperor Andrew is a avid fan of weapons, and even has one of the world's largest armories full of weapons from blades to guns of all types, and everything in between.
However, this also includes older, antique weaponry, from centuries ago.

He doesn't shoot them or use them, but keeps them out for decoration. For example, he has an old 18th century Spanish flintlock rifle in prime condition, after personally maintaining it himself.
It is made out of solid oak and gold(all the metal parts are gold).
Not only does he like collecting old weaponry and displaying them for decoration, but he also likes collecting old weaponry that belonged to famous individuals.
He has many guns and weapons from all over time, that belonged to well known historic figures, due to he is this much of a history nut when it comes to weapons.

And it should also be known that he is a very skilled and experienced weapons smith, being able to take apart and put back together just about any type of weapon, and also being able to maintain them to such a great degree that no matter how old or how tattered, it will look like as if it were just made.

Oh yes, Alex loves really old weapons as well. From Rome he recovered an ancient Roman dagger rumored to cause the death of anyone who owns it. It also may have been the dagger used to deliver the first stab to Julius Caesar. He also has more...esoteric items, such as a black staff which, when used, drives people insane.

Fascinating. Seems Andrew and Alex have a common interest in ancient and old weaponry and artifacts!
