I don't know what happened with that post I somehow supressed... I'm very sorry, it's unsupressed now.

Breaking News!
The President of the DSA suppressed a post written by comrade Bourboncois, with the intent to suffocate every discussion about the current situation in Turkey!
Maybe he's afraid of a possible coup too? Maybe he's siding with Erdogan? Is he becoming a dictator?

He later unsuppressed the post, claiming that he didn't "know what happened with that post I somehow supressed", but the damage was already done and the consequences could already be seen: everybody is revolting against the unfair leadership, and the chaos reigns in every street of Celle Franca's capital, Sublime.

As a fellow benevolent dictator, I applaud the suppression of posts. We don't need a reason! Keep your subjects on their toes, I say, and remind them frequently who runs this place - one suppressed post at a time! >:D

I'm looking forward to going to another habitat for humanity project in a week. Heavy manual labor, church potlucks, and beer runs. I'm so stoked!

I've been invited to a BBQ on Saturday run by the CPGB-ML (Communist Party of Great Britain - Marxist Leninist). Attendees will include the ambassadors for North Korea and Cuba, as well as other leading Communists within Britain (if it's right to call them leading communists, I'm not sure anyone outside of the event will have heard of them)

I don't understand? Have I started a commotion? If I have, then I'm terribly sorry.

Why would any communist party want to associate with North Korea? They are not communist, if anything they are a hereditary absolute Monarch

More like a totalitarian dictatorship to me.

You haven't started any commotion ;-)

They don't even claim to be (ideologically) communist anymore either.

Good question. While there's a ruling class that passes down through bloodlines, indulging in high fashion and other luxuries while non-party-officials share equality in starvation, destitution, and subjugation, how can it be reconciled? It goes to show there are some advocates so caught up in the narratives of what is preached, yet fail to scrutinize what is practiced.

Anyone else suffering from the dry heaves while watching the RNC national convention?

After 3 long days I've been able to discern the bold Rebpulican plan for making America great again: Hillary Clinton is satan and a traitor and hates America.

Seriously. They're 3 days into this thing and they have yet to unveil an actual policy initiative - well, other than building a wall, deporting 11 million people, killing a bunch of vague enemies for democracy and winning a lot...

I think instead of deporting 11 million, I think it's best to place them in isolation camps until the issues are gone. That's my opinion of course. Cause I think deporting people will be too expensive.

But it isn't the immigrants that are the problem. The common complaint is that "they're taking our jobs," but it's the employers that are making those hires because the alternative is an equally low-skilled and undereducated but privileged workforce. And that's not even the whole picture. Immigrants are great for our economy and keeps the money relatively within the country. It's the outsourcing and offshoring that's the real issue.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm..?

How about instead of deporting them or putting them in isolation camps, we give them an easy path to citizenship in the US?

This is the convention? I thought it was an extended Celebrity Apprentice Finale.

Good idea, but what if they commit terrorist attacks? That's the question if we should keep being kind.

Democratic france wrote:I can't tell if this is sarcasm..?

I know I sound like a heartless person, but unfortunately, we can't trust everyone in this world sadly. I know it's right that we should help those people, but what if their mixed with a few terrorists that want to destroy us? The question is should we keep helping them, or deport them? That's why I say Isolate them for the mean time until the issue is gone, so that it could both protect the locals and the refugees who just want to look for peace and a better life.

Bourboncois wrote:I think instead of deporting 11 million, I think it's best to place them in isolation camps until the issues are gone. That's my opinion of course. Cause I think deporting people will be too expensive.

And while they're being 'isolated' they may as well have some useful work to do while they wait to be released. Perhaps even we could have them fill a quota of hours worked to demonstrate that they are good, patriotic, hard workers worthy of American citizenship and therefore worthy of release from the concentra... isolation camps. We could call the program "Work makes you liberated" or something catchy like that....
