''But there are other questions as well. Why, for example, was the attacker carrying a passport at all? It looks as though Islamic State wanted the passport to be found, which would play into the hands of Islamic State, which has claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks, in two ways. First, it would increase fears in the West due to the large numbers of refugees currently arriving, and it would further divide European society. Secondly, it would discredit the refugees themselves. For Islamic State, refugees are traitors for fleeing the country rather than joining Islamic State for the establishment of a Caliphate.
The passport also raises questions when it comes to the coordination of the terror attacks as well. Most of the attackers were French, that much has become clear.'

The Roundtable or whatever it's called that won in Venezuela is mostly made up of centre-left parties, so while not too drastic of a change, it's still a step to the right, and a step to the right is a step back. As for Argentina, the Kirchner government was rather corrupt from what I understand, so it may actually be a good thing that they lost, if only so they can come back next election more organised and more focused.

Hm, that is rather interesting. It seems like a system that could be applied almost anywhere.

I find Venezuela's socialist revolution very exciting. It's a shame that falling oil prices have hit the country so hard. They're having shortages of basic supplies everywhere. I hope that oil prices recover or the economy diversifies so the Bolivarian Revolution can get back on track.
