However, as you will undoubtedly be aware by now, other than enhancing your abilities in the WA, the post holds no real power in this region.
If you are genuinely interested in setting up a regional government for this region then I would urge you to first join the forum- we are open to the idea of a civilian community and all the accompanying infrastructure, and we are more than willing to encourage the growth of the same.
In fact you would benefit from the fact that the region has a vigilant founder who can call upon the support of one of the most formidable military forces existent in NationStates today, and therefore would be able to conduct civilian affairs without fear of intrusion from outside hostiles.

The Council-Republic of Opaloka. The W&SG thanks CI for flying our flag, it is indeed an honour. We 'borrowed' the flag from Luxembourg where it is used as the civil ensign. It was popular with anti-nazi resisters of the occupation of WW2. It remains popular & there have been moves to adopt it as the main flag. It is called the 'Roude Léiw' (red lion'. For us the blue & white stripes stand for our origin & political basis in the 'freistadt bayern' proclaimed by Kurt Eisner 8/11/1918 while the red lion represents the collective will to power of the working class.
