I vote no and yes. I mean: for the moment I'd say no because first I think we should settle a definitive map in which we all appear with our claims (claims, by the way, that are not incompatible so far) and only then we can start talking about colonies, It is then when I will vote yes to your lands in China without problems. I think it is fair enough, don't you think?

I don't want the land for now.

Reading 1, Exodus 20:1-17

1 Then God spoke all these words. He said,

2 'I am Yahweh your God who brought you out of Egypt, where you lived as slaves.

3 'You shall have no other gods to rival me.

4 'You shall not make yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters under the earth.

5 'You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God and I punish a parent's fault in the children, the grandchildren, and the great-grandchildren among those who hate me;

6 but I act with faithful love towards thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 'You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God, for Yahweh will not leave unpunished anyone who misuses his name.

8 'Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.

9 For six days you shall labour and do all your work,

10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath for Yahweh your God. You shall do no work that day, neither you nor your son nor your daughter nor your servants, men or women, nor your animals nor the alien living with you.

11 For in six days Yahweh made the heavens, earth and sea and all that these contain, but on the seventh day he rested; that is why Yahweh has blessed the Sabbath day and made it sacred.

12 'Honour your father and your mother so that you may live long in the land that Yahweh your God is giving you.

13 'You shall not kill.

14 'You shall not commit adultery.

15 'You shall not steal.

16 'You shall not give false evidence against your neighbour.

17 'You shall not set your heart on your neighbour's house. You shall not set your heart on your neighbour's spouse, or servant, man or woman, or ox, or donkey, or any of your neighbour's possessions.'

Psalms 19:8, 9, 10, 11

8 The precepts of Yahweh are honest, joy for the heart; the commandment of Yahweh is pure, light for the eyes.

9 The fear of Yahweh is pure, lasting for ever; the judgements of Yahweh are true, upright, every one,

10 more desirable than gold, even than the finest gold; his words are sweeter than honey, that drips from the comb.

11 Thus your servant is formed by them; observing them brings great reward.

Matthew 13:18-23

18 'So pay attention to the parable of the sower.

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom without understanding, the Evil One comes and carries off what was sown in his heart: this is the seed sown on the edge of the path.

20 The seed sown on patches of rock is someone who hears the word and welcomes it at once with joy.

21 But such a person has no root deep down and does not last; should some trial come, or some persecution on account of the word, at once he falls away.

22 The seed sown in thorns is someone who hears the word, but the worry of the world and the lure of riches choke the word and so it produces nothing.

23 And the seed sown in rich soil is someone who hears the word and understands it; this is the one who yields a harvest and produces now a hundredfold, now sixty, now thirty.'

2 Corinthians 4:7-15

7 But we hold this treasure in pots of earthenware, so that the immensity of the power is God's and not our own.

8 We are subjected to every kind of hardship, but never distressed; we see no way out but we never despair;

9 we are pursued but never cut off; knocked down, but still have some life in us;

10 always we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our body.

11 Indeed, while we are still alive, we are continually being handed over to death, for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our mortal flesh.

12 In us, then, death is at work; in you, life.

13 But as we have the same spirit of faith as is described in scripture -- I believed and therefore I spoke -we, too, believe and therefore we, too, speak,

14 realising that he who raised up the Lord Jesus will raise us up with Jesus in our turn, and bring us to himself -- and you as well.

15 You see, everything is for your benefit, so that as grace spreads, so, to the glory of God, thanksgiving may also overflow among more and more people.

Psalms 126:1-2, 2-3, 4-5, 6

1 [Song of Ascents] When Yahweh brought back Zion's captives we lived in a dream;

2 then our mouths filled with laughter, and our lips with song. Then the nations kept saying, 'What great deeds Yahweh has done for them!'

3 Yes, Yahweh did great deeds for us, and we were overjoyed.

4 Bring back, Yahweh, our people from captivity like torrents in the Negeb!

5 Those who sow in tears sing as they reap.

6 He went off, went off weeping, carrying the seed. He comes back, comes back singing, bringing in his sheaves.

Matthew 20:20-28

20 Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came with her sons to make a request of him, and bowed low;

21 and he said to her, 'What is it you want?' She said to him, 'Promise that these two sons of mine may sit one at your right hand and the other at your left in your kingdom.'

22 Jesus answered, 'You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I am going to drink?' They replied, 'We can.'

23 He said to them, 'Very well; you shall drink my cup, but as for seats at my right hand and my left, these are not mine to grant; they belong to those to whom they have been allotted by my Father.'

24 When the other ten heard this they were indignant with the two brothers.

25 But Jesus called them to him and said, 'You know that among the gentiles the rulers lord it over them, and great men make their authority felt.

26 Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant,

27 and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave,

28 just as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'

Hey everyone I hope your summers have been great! I apologize for being so inactive. I've been without a computer but next week I should be able to return and be part of the community again. God bless you guys and happy Sunday!

Since we no longer seem to be using Synaxis's map, here is the last map updated to correctly reflect my current territory:

This is a (rough, needs refining) map of borders I would like to have if possible, because I detest endless straight lines and prefer river and mountain borders, and my nation centers around the lakes and the northwest passage. I don't want to look exactly like Canada either.

It's perfect, and you have earned me the work of drawing that non-real-borders-like borders, so thank you, welcome back and, for my part, you can take those lands.

And, about the map in general, I think Synaxis can directly update the link with that map when he is connected because as far as I know we all agree with everything.

Would you like me to refine the borders myself or let you draw them? Essentially I would like the St. Lawrence River Valley, pictured as the lighter color here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/af/Grlakes_lawrence_map.png
and I would like the border on the west to look like a natural river or mountain border rather than that ugly 3,500 kilometer long straight line.

Uff, this time I prefer you to do it because I don't know them as exactly as you I think, if it is not a problem. Anyway, if you can't tell me and I'll try tomorrow.

Here's what I came up with: http://i.imgur.com/jQ1doRS.png

I must say, I'm none too happy my map is being displaced; if no one wishes to use it, I ask then that I be formally relieved of all mapmaking, and indeed all responsible, duties in the region.

I don't mean to displace you as mapmaker, but this map seems to be the result of the RMB territorial discussions (and apparently a brief war) so it seemed the appropriate place to touch up my borders.
It's clear to me though, from unofficial maps being made off and on for years now it seems, that people in general aren't happy with individual RL nation borders, which while easier to work with, are less interesting and often not big enough for those with imperial aspirations.

The purpose of the borders I used was to make it relatively even between all major parties. But since that's all but out the window, I suppose there's no point in keeping up pretenses that I control the map any longer.

Well, i'm willing to do whatever really. My proposed borders were simply an something I thought went well with my idea of Potux's national history.
I don't want to undermine you as mapmaker since you've held that position for as long as I can remember, but I can't speak for what others want nor do I think this is the first time or the last time unofficial maps will spring up on the RMB.

Part of the problem is that others simply want more territory than I drew up in some places, is all. Even the map in the factbook up top isn't mine. I'm not opposed to 'unofficial' maps for personal reasons, but I question my purpose when they seem to be touted as the official regional map.

I have never meant to displace you as the mapmaker nor displacing your map. As I said in other posts, they are all proposals (in the case of the claims I think to draw them is the better way to explain them, and the change of map was an idea because from my point of view it makes things easier, nothing more), waiting for you to consider them as the responsible of the region, charge I have always completely respected. My apologies if everything have been understood like that.

Why don't we just form a regional map committee of 3 people (or the committee could make up of the CCS council members)... they could vote on visual changes, fonts, styles, etc. Then we could have the chancellor manage map claims.

Yes, I like it. And now that you have talked about the council, I have remembered that we are late too for that 20th July 2015 council election I think Wagafraga or CCS Founder said.

Dorne of sunspear

Update: Due to logistical concerns the children of the East Prussian prime minister have been divided between Sunspear of House Martell and Starfall of House Dayne (whom is married to the Princess). They are responding well to Dornish education and most have become fluent in the common tongue and some are even learning Rhoynish. They are readily taking to Dornish dress and customs, far better than we expected. The eldest for have been given specialist training by Maesters and Septas, while the oldest son has been taken as a squire by Ser Vorian Dayne himself. The other children of the Eastern Prussian nobility are getting the same sort of education from Dorne's noble houses.

New eastern prussia

Due to a very recent and unexpected hunting accident, there has been a shift of noble houses in New Eastern Prussia, the Heigenstroffers, are sworn enemies of the Fragenlanders who used to rule. The new royal house has therefore stripped the children of any titles and will now request that either you or the new government execute the ten oldest children and leave the rest of them in dorne as servants. The four children of the current royal family are currently in route.

So... i'm not clear on why New Eastern Prussia is completely enclosed by Blyskalia?
